The Love Like Deana 5K is a run/walk with the purpose of honoring the victims of the Old National Bank shooting on April 10, 2023. Deana Eckert made her life about spreading love and positivity, and carrying on her love is the goal of this 5K. Come out for a day filled with community, positivity, love and celebration!

All profits from this year's 5K will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, a charity close to Deana's heart after losing her mother to Dementia in 2021.

This race is more than just miles on a course. It’s a show of solidarity with the millions of people

who walk every single day to access water for their families. On average, individuals travel more

than 3 miles just to collect water, and too often it still isn’t safe to drink.

The Humana Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon & Marathon is a long-standing tradition held every spring in Kentucky. It has become the largest annual day of road racing in the state. As 2026 marks the 53rd annual miniMarathon and 25th annual Marathon, the Festival looks forward to another historic event. Participants will start at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville and run through numerous neighborhoods, experiencing all aspects of our wonderful city, including a run through the infield of historic Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. Then cross the finish line where they will be greeted by family and friends for our post-race party!

Back for 2026 is the Kentucky Derby Festival 5K presented by First Urology, taking place on Friday, April 24th at 7pm. This race, which debuted in 2025, is an exciting addition to the Race Weekend and also gives runners the opportunity to complete the KDF Race Challenge by completing the 5K on Friday, then either the mini or Marathon on Saturday for a 3rd medal!

Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in our virtual race, which will allow runners who cannot join us in Louisville to complete the mini or full marathon wherever is convenient for them.

The Fix 'Em 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, May 9th at Ashland Park in Clarksville, IN. to raise funds for Pet Friendly Services of Indiana.

Results divisions include:

• Dog Jog-how fast can you and your dog finish.

• Stroller Strut-how fast can you and your stroller buddy manage a 5k

• Human Race-get out there and blow it out!

Race entry includes:

• Foldable, mesh sided running cap

The Olmsted 5K at Shawnee Park is an exciting race for all levels of runners and walkers, set against the scenic backdrop of Shawnee Park, designed by the legendary landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Enjoy a beautiful course that highlights the lush green spaces, tree-lined paths, and scenic views of the Ohio River that Shawnee has to offer.

This race is a proud part of the Derby City Omnium weekend – an action-packed celebration of cycling and fitness in Louisville! After the 5K, stick around to cheer on the competitive cyclists as they battle for position at high speed in thrilling circuit races. It’s a great opportunity to see athletes from all disciplines come together for an unforgettable day of sports and community spirit.
