100k Road Run Track Trail Ultra Walk

The Divide 200 celebrates our Rocky Mountain heritage, and highlights portions of the stunning Great Divide Trail. Our vision for The Divide 200 is to keep you up high and exploring the varied landscape of the Continental Divide. The route includes the Castle and Crowsnest region of the southern Rockies. The course is a combination of single track, double track, a small amount of road, cross-country, and even a bit of bushwhacking and scrambling. The race is about alpine travel, ridge walks, and getting you into remote backcountry. NEW! For 2026 we are introducing a limited number of spots for Relay teams and a new 100k course. See the website for details. This event is for people with a great deal of ultramarathon experience and proficiency in alpine travel. There will be some sections of route-finding even though it is a prescribed course; the terrain can just be really gnarly out there. If you have done a 100k or longer ultra, you are probably physically ready – just keep in mind that

the physical part is only half the battle. Checkpoints are every 20 to 40km apart, depending on the section of the race. Competitors are required to carry a Garmin inReach, provided by us, for both route finding and safety. The race is capped at 100 entrants. We are offering a large prize purse for the top three female and male 200-mile solo competitors, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers receiving $5,000, $2,500, and $1,750 respectively (all in CDN$). See the website for details. Follow The Divide 200 group on Facebook for updates as they happen. What you get, and why you should sign up: * The Challenge: This race doesn’t just test your stamina; it’s a battle of mind over matter. The course will tear you down, but it’ll also make you rise and find new strength. * Full Support, No Shortcuts: We’re not throwing you to the wolves – you’ll have everything you need to survive this beast. We supply satellite trackers, and with well-stocked aid stations and medical support, we’re with you

every step of the way. We do not cut corners on the essentials. Our main aid stations do not just offer candy and bananas – we also have a lot of fresh and hot foods. * Catered Meals: The 200-milers and 100k-ers get a pre- and post-race meal with their registration. Relay runners have the option to add on a meal with their registration. Check the Details section below for times. * Course Flagging and Maps: We go above and beyond with our course flagging, with reflective markers and ribbons along the length of the route. We also make GPS files available so that you can navigate your way with confidence. * Scenic Beauty: The race takes you through some of Canada’s most stunning (and most fierce) terrain. You’ll feel the wilderness, the weather, and the challenge with every single KM. * Running Community Vibes: Join a group of like-minded maniacs who don’t shy away from tough. When you cross that finish line, you’ll have a whole community cheering you on, knowing you’ve earned it. * Prizes,

Swag, and Socials: We offer a large cash purse for the 200-mile podium, with a lot of additional awards with outstanding prizes. We give you premium swag. * Event Photography: We offer complementary photos to our competitors, and we hire professional photographers to document the experience. Are you ready for Canada's penultimate wilderness adventure? PAYMENT PLAN: 200-mile solo competitors can pay upfront or in two installments. The first 50% installment is due on registration, which holds your spot, and the second is due on March 31. Note that you can pay the balance after March 31, but there will be a 10% price increase on April 1. There is also a 10% nonrefundable fee; see our Terms and Conditions. https://www.sinistersports.ca/terms

VERTICAL KILOMETRE RACE Calling all crushers and people who want to bust a lung! Short, fast and fun; Vertical Vendetta is a wild loop race that will get your heart pounding. Hosted at Pass Powderkeg Ski Area in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, runners will make four ascents of the famous lift line route for a total of 1,000 vertical metres, but with a slightly kinder way down. The average grade is 25%, so get ready to work your quads. The race is really simple – you run up and down the hill, on the prescribed course, until you reach the 1,000m elevation gain milestone. Then, festivities to follow. The race is going to have a really grass-roots vibe; we just want to get out there and have fun.
