In the American calendar, the July 4th π is an important date as it marks the commemoration of the declaration of independence in 1776 from Great Britain π¬π§. This national holiday is thus highlighted with fireworks π, patriotic songs, and barbecues π. But a holiday also means an opportunity to pin on a bib! π½ Meet at Austin, the funkiest city in Texas πΊπ² to participate in the July 4th Freedom Run π, a pressure-free race as it's just an excuse to gather with family or friends π«Ά. Beyond the finish line, the goal is clear: to have a good sporting time πͺ. You can feel like a real Texas cowboy by treading the streets of Austin (not on a trusty steed, unfortunately) π. And since your level of fun might not be the same as others, the organization has provided several formats: 5 km, 10 km and a half-marathon π. Everything is good to properly celebrate this national day. If you traveled with family, a 1 mile (1.61 km) course πββοΈ is part of the festivities. Oh yeah! If
you havenβt found what suits you, donβt worry, the race also exists in a connected version π².
