    The Races:

    • These races are part of the 12 Days of Christmas (in July) Clover Glove mini-series. If you registered for these races as part of the 12 Days mini-series, DO NOT register again here. Register here only if running these races only.

    • Two races, a 1K and a 4K, will occur on July 10th beginning at 6:34 p.m.

    • Two races, a 3.22K and 2K, will occur on July 11th beginning at 7:34 a.m.

    • The races will take place at the Fortson 4-H Center at 999 Fortson Road, Hampton, Georgia. Overnight accommodations available for $20.

    Awards: No awards or shirt. All proceeds will be used to support the Georgia 4-H Foundation.

    Registration: On-site registration/check-in available starting one hour before the first race on each day.

    The Turtle Cove Dash starts at the Jasper County Volunteer Fire Dept. Station 1. It runs down to Whippoorwill which turns into Turtle Cove. It turns down Turtle Cove Trailway all the way to the edge of the golf course and then turns left and exits out of the main entrance of Turtle Cove. It then turns left and finishes back at the fire department. The race course is rolling hills!

    Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

    Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be immediately disqualified, asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

    All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

    Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.

    Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag. No race gifts will be mailed, you must be present to receive medal and swag.

    There will be Free parking at the race site until lot is full. Once the lot is full you will be directed to the overflow parking area where you will be shuttled to the race location.

    Get Ready for the

    2nd Annual Peachtree City Dragon Boat Race & International Festival!

    Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Drake Field on Lake Peachtree in Peachtree City, GA, for a thrilling day of dragon boat racing and cultural celebration! Cancer-survivor, paradragon, age 50+, and other interested paddlers are encouraged to sign up!

    Hosted by the 501c3 non-profit, Peach State Dragon Boat Academy, this small-boat fundraiser festival features fast-paced 200m races on the scenic waters of Lake Peachtree.

    Teams will test their endurance and teamwork as they paddle for victory, navigating a high-energy course with a breathtaking lakeside backdrop. The festival isn’t just about racing—attendees will enjoy live entertainment, delicious food trucks, artisan vendors, and special events throughout the day.

    One of the festival’s most meaningful moments will be the Cancer Flower Ceremony, honoring survivors and loved ones affected by cancer. Plus, the competition heats up with our trophies for Fastest Times of the Day, and our exciting Knock-Out Race, where the winning team will earn free registration for the 2027 event!
