The 13th Annual Boring Marathon, Half-Boring Half-Marathon, Constantly Boring 10K, and Somewhat Boring 5K will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026. All races start and finish at Boring Station Trailhead Park in downtown Boring, Oregon. Parking will be at Boring Middle School, Naas Elementary School, Boring-Damascus Grange, and the surrounding neighborhood. Please make sure to check out the updated parking map, as we have been able to add almost 100 additional parking spots. As always please respect the neighbors by not blocking driveways or fence openings, fire hydrants, or parking where 'no parking' sings are posted. Please use SE Wally Rd and SE School Ave to reach parking after 6:15 am, as runners will be crossing SE Dee St. The four races are all on the Springwater Trail, out and back, with the marathon being 2-loops of the half marathon course. Both the Half Marathon and Marathon Courses are certified courses and the Marathon Course is once again a Boston Qualifier!

The Boring Marathon Course runs the half marathon course twice and you will get a half marathon split time when you turn for lap 2. The course is USATF Certified Certificate # OR24005JH.

The Half Boring Half Marathon is an out-and-back on the Springwater Trail from Boring Stations Trailhead Park to Towle Ave and back. This course is now a USATF certified Half Marathon course. Certificate # OR24004JH.

The Constantly Boring 10K, which gets really close to the City of Gresham boundary, but never leaves the Boring area, is just a constantly Boring stroll. This race starts at the same spot as the others and is a short 5k out and back course. This race sold out the fastest in 2025, so register early!

The Somewhat Boring 5K, never really leaves the Boring area so truly is just somewhat Boring, starts at the same spot and is a short out and back course.

For 2026, as like the last few years we will continue to offer a virtual option for those that would like to earn the Boring Shirt and Medal, but cannot travel to our lovely little city.

Race Entry Limits - Marathon is limited to 100 entries, the Half Marathon to 220 entries, the 10K to 140 entries, the 5K 140 entries, and Virtual (Unlimited).

Jacuzzi Boys Athletic Club launched in Portland, Oregon in 2014, built around three ideals: work hard, enjoy the experience, and never miss the forest for the trees. The crew believes that performance matters, but so does presence, running with ambition and awareness while keeping the experience itself as the whole point. Members hail from across the country, though Portland remains home base, where the vibe is genuine and the effort is real. From Forest Park's Wildwood Trail to the city's iconic river bridges, Jacuzzi Boys Athletic Club runs with curiosity, grit, and heart, proving that the company you keep makes every mile worth it.

Stumprunners began in Portland's heart in November 2012, when four friends decided that trails belonged in their weekly routine. They wanted to run among the city's ancient trees, connect with each other, and build something that lasted. Today, around 30 runners of all levels gather every Saturday morning at Dragonfly Coffee House before heading into Forest Park to tackle the Wildwood and Leif Erikson trails. The crew runs for the trees, the trails, and each other, with social connection and mutual support woven into everything they do. Post-run plates and pints are part of the deal, too.
