Super Exciting News! We are adding for the first time a run/bike/run Duathlon to our event! Great for those folks who don't like the swim in a full tri!
You will feel right at home at this
family-friendly event. it is a race you will enjoy with a fun course at a great location. This is a fantastic venue for all levels of athletes, whether you are a beginner or have completed numerous triathlons. For the intermediate and elite, it is a great opportunity to set a new PR.
Athletes will have a choice of sprint or olympic distance triathlon, sprint aquabike, or can choose to participate in an olympic distance OR sprint relay.
Sprint distances - the swim is a 500-meter loop, the ride is on county roads for a 13-mile bike ride with enough low rollers to keep it interesting. Racers will finish up with a 3-mile run around the lake on a flat crushed granite trail with water stops along the way.
Olympic events consist of two laps of each triathlon segment.
NOTE: We recommend participants purchase the event insurance, as there are NO registration refunds going forward. The cost is minimal.

Event Timeline:
Pre-riding – anytime leading up to the event until 4 pm on 8/15/26
Number pickup – At the barn from 9am – 4pm
Racer Meeting at the barn – 4:30 pm
8pm – Must have lights on your bike to go out for a lap
11 pm – Race ends. You must start your last lap before 11 pm
11:30 (approximately) – podiums and awards
Registration does not include $10 land use fee or $15 camping.
A Bluff Creek Ranch Waiver must be signed by everyone entering the ranch.

Join us on October 4th for a one-of-a-kind 5K run (or walk!) through the scenic trails and pastures of Star Ranch, a family-friendly nudist resort serving Central Texas since 1957.

karaoke, pickleball, Cornhole, free individual photos, and a food truck!
The Course:
First 3K: winding through woodlands and pastures
Final 2K: sand & gravel paths past cabins and cottages
Finish: at our gorgeous pool with a light meal off the grill
