Three years. Countless wagging tails. Real impact for animals in need.
The Paws in Motion 5K is back for its THIRD year in 2026, and we’re ready to celebrate how far we’ve come—and how much more we can do together! 🐶🐾 What began as a simple community run has grown into a powerful way to support local animals and the people who love them.
Here’s what your steps have already made possible:
🐾 2024: We raised $4,000, which was used to purchase a dental cleaning machine for JPAWS. This allows the shelter to now perform necessary dental procedures in-house—improving animal health while cutting costly outsourced expenses.
🐾 2025: Thanks to your incredible support, proceeds helped donate 10,000 pounds of pet food to the Westbank Food Pantry at JPAWS, providing local families in need with food for their furry companions.
And now—it’s time for Year Three.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or letting your pup lead the way, every step you take helps create more success stories. Expect a high-energy morning packed with raffles, refreshments, photo-worthy moments, and a fun, family- (and pet-) friendly atmosphere.
