The Meecheway 5K COLOR RUN VOL. 3 is coming Saturday, October 10, 2026!

We encourage our community to unite in the race to keep Scouting strong and Camp Lakota stable and viable for our community.

100 percent of the proceeds go directly to Black Swamp Area Council Scouting programs to build the next generation of community leaders. This year, we have an opportunity to cover more ground than ever before.

This is our 3rd Annual COLOR RUN and after witnessing the fun had by all last year, you do not want to miss out! Anyway, don't hesitate, sign up to run or walk!

Check in beginning at 8:30 A.M.

Start at 9:00 a.m. SHARP!

Included in your run package is a t-shirt for the race, bananas, and fresh donuts! Prizes are given out to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female as well as fastest male and female 15 years old or younger! Sign ups within two weeks of race day cannot guarantee a t-shirt.

    This community event benefits pediatric cancer initiatives and begins at 10 a.m. Parking will be at the Huddle Road Parking lot

    And the 5K will start at the fairground, and you can take the road to Oberhaus Park, which is about a mile away. Once at the park, participants can complete an additional three miles using the park sidewalk before returning to the fairgrounds.     Flat course starting in town, looping out of town, then finishing back in town. Walk, 5k or 10k options. There is one water stop for the 10k route then water and snacks at the finish for all participants. Wyatt's Walk benefits the Wyatt Davis Memorial Scholarship which was started in memory of Wyatt Davis, a great young man who set the standard for being a role model in every aspect of his short life. Wyatt's life was cut short at 18 years old after a battle with Osteosarcoma. This event is part of the Continental Fall Festival which offers food vendors and additional activities to stick around for. Must register by 9-16-26 for t-shirt.
