Course Description: Race starts and finishes in the southbound lane of the Clyde Fant Parkway across from the Sci-Port Discovery Center
Registration Fees:
through May 1st - $25.00
May 2nd - May 22nd - $30.00
Race Day - $40.00
***If you do not want a race shirt you can save $5.00 on your registration by choosing the " I have too many race shirts" option and it will take $5.00 off your entry at checkout.
Packet Pick-up: You can pick up your packet at Sportspectrum 6970 Fern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105
Wednesday, May 20th from 10:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 21st 10:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
Friday, May 22nd 10:00 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
and at the race site (across from Sci-Port) from 6:15 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.
If you do not pick up your packet or have someone else pick up your packet by race time, we will give your race shirt to one of our volunteers. No Refunds, No Packets Mailed.
Race Packet: Every pre-registered participant will receive an official 42nd Anniversary 2026
Mudbug Madness race T-shirt. Shirts will be limited, so please register early.
You must register by midnight May 13th to guarantee your shirt size.
Post Party: Join us after the race at the Mudbug festival site to enjoy exciting live entertainment, food, drinks and free entry into the festival all day long with official race bib number.
Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will take place at the race site hopefully around 8:30 a.m. so please stick around if you think you won an award.
Awards: 5k Adult Division - Overall winner & runner up male & female will receive a $150 & $100 Sportspectrum Gift Cards (respectively)
Adult 5K Male & Female age groups: 19-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70+
Awards: 5k Kids division - Overall and runner-up male & female in the Kids 5k will receive an award
5K Kids Male & Female age groups: 8 & under, 9-11,12-15,16-18
1st Overall Male & Female in the wheelchair division
Special Note: No bikes, skate devices, or dogs on the course. Baby joggers can be used but must start in the back.
Refund & Race entry transfer policy:
Refunds:
We understand that things come up. If you can no longer run the race, and need cancel more than 30 days in advance, you will receive 100% refund. If you cancel between 30 days and two weeks prior to race day, you will receive 50% refund. We will not allow any refunds less than two weeks before race day. No exceptions.
Race entry Transfers:
We will allow race entry transfers to another person as long as the transfer is done at least two weeks prior to race day. There is a $10.00 charge for transfers. No exceptions.
