    We offer the following distances:

    50K (31.1 miles) – (7:00 a.m. start – 10 hour time limit)

    20 miles – (7:00 a.m. start – 9 1/2 hour time limit)

    10 miles – (7:30 a.m. start – 9 hour time limit)

    10K (6.2 miles) – (7:30 a.m. start – 8 ½ hour time limit)

    5K (3.1 miles) – 7:30 a.m. start – 8 hour time limit)

    LOCATION: Start/Finish at the Redwood Pavilion in Cameron Park. 2.1 miles west of Interstate 35. Take the University Parks exit and go west.

    COURSE: In beautiful Cameron Park on the banks of the Brazos and Bosque Rivers. A rocky, hilly, rooty, (but fun) trail. Mostly single track.

    PACKET PICK-UP:

    • Friday Pack pick up and late registration is going to be at the Waco Running Company, 700 Franklin Ave, Waco, from 4:00-6:00pm.

    • Packets may also be picked up on race morning at the Redwood Pavilion.

    AID STATIONS: Start/Finish, 2.25 miles, 4.0 miles and 7.75 miles of each loop. This will be a cupless race!!

    AWARDS: Finishers medals to all. Cool stuff to all entrants. Awards to top 3 male/female Open and Masters. Masters is 50 and over.

    POST RACE: Breakfast tacos, lunch tacos, beer, soda, water.

    The Unbound Now Light Up The Dark 5K Presented by Chick Fil A is a fun, family-friendly “glow-in-the-dark” run to raise money and awareness for the anti-human trafficking work of Unbound. This annual event is fun for everyone, whether you’re a slow walker or a professional runner! This year, we are offering in-person and virtual options to participants to fight human trafficking in Waco, Texas, and around the world. Build a team, set a goal, and raise funds on the side to end human trafficking!

    IN-PERSON: Join us at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas on April 18, 2026, for a night of fun and wild experiences. We'll have food trucks, music, games, and a "glowing good time." You must have a Zoo Spectator Pass to get into the Zoo if you are not register for the 5K or 1K event.

    Light Up The Dark in spirit 5K Sofa Edition (virtual): Fight human trafficking wherever you are in the world! Get your friends, family, or coworkers together to support Unbound. Register as an individual or set up a team and receive our Glow Global box with glow-in-the-dark gear for you and your crew by mail, if you register by March 16th at 11:59 p.m.

    WHY REGISTER BY APRIL 20? Register for 5K or Fun Run by Monday April 20 and receive a ballot in your packet to "vote" on race day for a Mission Waco Mission World program to receive $15 of the Race ONE proceeds. Our program directors provide a list on the ballot of specific needs in their program areas. Ballots will only be accepted at Jubilee Park on race day from 7am-9am. Recruit your friends to also register by April 20 and come out on race day to "vote" their support for your favorite program of Mission Waco Mission World! Our Door Prizes are drawn at 8:40am from all the ballots received that morning -- so that's another reason to vote!

    WILL I GET A T-SHIRT? ATO (fraternity at Baylor) designs our t-shirt each year - so you know you are going to want one! There are two ways to guarantee you'll get a t-shirt: If you sign up for PAID Registration by Monday 4/6 here through RunSignUp. OR you'll have an option to purchase a shirt ($15) by Monday 4/6 when you sign up for Free Registration or Virtual Runner. PAID Pre-Registrations April 7-20 will be receive a shirt if we have extras (based on date/time that you registered). Anyone can stop by the tshirt table after 9am on Race Day to see if we have any extras for purchase.

    PRICE INCREASES: 5K is $25 thru 4/6, $30 starting 4/7, and $35 from 4/21 thru race day. 1 Mile Fun Run is $18 thru 4/6, $23 starting 4/7, and $28 from 4/21 thru race day. Virtual Runner is $10 thru 4/6, and $30 thru race day.

    This is the target race for the Waco Women's Training Program. So, please come out and support them as this will be the first 5K race for many of them.

    The 5K awards will include medals for the top overall male and female and for the first 3 male and female finishers in 5 yr. age categories from 14 and under to 65 and over.

    Note: Dogs are not allowed on the course for insurance and safety reasons.
