Founded in June 2024 by former national middle-distance athlete Emmerson, Bruges Running Crew has quickly become a lively community in the historic Belgian city. Emphasizing connection over competition, the crew welcomes runners of all ages and skill levels to share joy and camaraderie through regular easy-paced runs and monthly coffee meetups. Their routes wind through Bruges’s medieval streets and canals, offering a scenic mix of heritage and fresh urban energy. Supported by six captains who share Emmerson’s vision, the crew promotes inclusivity and friendship, creating a social space where stories and motivation flow as freely as the miles. Open to everyone at no cost or barriers, Bruges Running Crew fills a void in the local running scene and encourages both locals and visitors to see running as a shared way of life. Through community engagement and participation in local events, the crew continues to enrich Bruges’s active culture, one step at a time.

Founded in January 2020 by Sam and Jasper, Trail Trash Running Crew has grown into a welcoming community of about 100 members united by a love for Brussels’ scenic trails. Guided by captains Jan and Yasko, the crew meets every other Sunday near the Sonian Forest to explore routes ranging from 10 to 100 kilometers at a steady pace. Their runs wind through historic and natural landmarks like the Zoniënwoud Loop and Tervuren Royal Park, blending the city’s rich heritage with vibrant woodland scenery. Emphasizing inclusivity and connection over competition, Trail Trash invites runners of all levels and backgrounds to join, fostering friendships that extend beyond the trails. This medium-sized crew reflects Brussels’ multicultural spirit and contributes a unique voice to the city’s running culture by celebrating nature on the metropolis’s outskirts. Trail Trash not only offers shared adventures but also participates in local races, strengthening community bonds through endurance and shared passion.

BXL Run Crew started in January 2018 when two friends, Camille and Tim, wanted to create something different for runners in Brussels. They call themselves a run crew, not a club, and focus on connecting people and exploring the city together. Every week, they organize runs that are open to everyone and aim to make running social and enjoyable, not just about speed or distance.

Halle Run Crew is a vibrant and inclusive community that has been lighting up the running scene in Halle, Belgium, since its founding in May 2023. Established by the spirited Iris, the crew embodies a hip, urban, and sporty vibe, with a core mission of fostering camaraderie and self-discovery. They are led by a passionate "dream team" of captains and coaches, and their dynamic weekly schedule is organized on the Heylo app. Their most iconic event is an annual run through the breathtaking fields of blooming hyacinths in the nearby Hallerbos forest.
