Experience a Marathon Reimagined!

Discover the excitement of the Greater St. Louis Marathon scheduled for April 11, 2026. This not-to-be-missed event promises a weekend filled with exciting courses, iconic landmarks, and vibrant celebrations, including the return of the National Running Club Championships & Rally.

With festivities kicking off downtown and concluding with a lively after-party, participants can look forward to live music, local cuisine, and an unparalleled city tour showcasing the spirit of St. Louis, the Gateway to the Best.

Students on the GO! is a program for high school students to train for a half marathon or 10K over a 20-week program. This isn’t a program just for highly trained runners (though they are welcome!). This is a program for any student who wants to be active, learn how to properly train for the 13.1 mile or 10K distance, and set and attain goals. In short, this is a program for ANY student! A free pair of running shoes and free entry into an additional race are just some of the perks of this program.

Students may join the Students on the GO! Program through a school group. Participating high schools will have a school coordinator, and each student at a participating high school/team will join and then communicate through their own school’s SOTG program throughout the duration of the program.

Program Components:

• 20-week training program to prepare for half marathon or 10K

• Plans written by GO! St. Louis coaching staff for all abilities

(coaching staff will work with school coordinator to determine each student’s best plan)

• Entry into half marathon or 10K race at program culmination

• Finisher Jacket or Hooded sweatshirt, running shoes, and race entry for all participants

• Opportunities for group runs in both Tower Grove and Forest Park

It's the 3rd Annual CTK5K! Join us for a timed 5k run, 1.5 mile walk and kids 1 mile(ish) fun run! Enjoy a scenic spring run through University City neighborhoods and celebrate our community and our school!

We are pleased to partner with great community sponsors and the money raised from this third year will support the purchase of new playground equipment at Christ the King School. New this year: Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck and Kona Ice will be back!

Race Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026

5K & 1.5 Mile Walk Start Time: 8am

5K Awards: 8:45am

1 Mile Kids Fun Run: 9am

*No dogs or bikes are allowed on the course. Strollers are welcome, but must start at the back.

The 2026 Cardinals 5K returns to celebrate the career of Joe Torre! This year's 5K will offer both an In-Person and Virtual format, allowing Cardinals fans across the world the chance to run, jog or walk the race. All Participants will receive a high quality long sleeved t-shirt or sweatshirt and a Collectable Finisher Medallion featuring Cardinals Hall of Famer Joe Torre. In person participants will be chip timed in the race on April 18th, Virtual participants will have access to submit results. All participants will earn a digital Finisher's Certificate. In-Person participants will have the opportunity to walk a celebratory lap around Busch Stadium after completing their 5K.

The in-person event will be held on April 18th at 8:30 AM at Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium. Pre-race activities and warm-ups will be held on the Busch II infield in Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village. The course will start and finish on Clark Street between Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium with the race route taking participants through the streets of downtown. Upon finishing the 5K, participants will have the opportunity to take a victory lap around the warning track inside Busch Stadium, and then return to the Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village for a post-race party.

Registration starts at $40 per Adult registrant and children 13 & under can register for $35. All participants will also receive:

Unfortunately due to the congestion along the 5k route and at Busch Stadium, NO DOGS ARE PERMITTED IN THE 5K OR ON THE FIELD

*Service Animals are permitted by special request.

Strollers may be used during the 5k run/walk but are asked to start at the back of the pack, and are allowed into Busch Stadium for the celebratory lap. Children under 7 may ride in a stroller with a participating adult without registering.

Since 2017, the Race for Refugees community has come together to celebrate refugee and immigrant neighbors while raising critical funds that support first-touch services through the International Institute of St. Louis. All the funds we raise go to support the work of the International Institute of St. Louis.

About the International Institute

Established in 1919, the Institute has resettled refugees from Ukraine, Vietnam, Bosnia, Sudan, Congo, and many other countries. These individuals have gone on to become key pillars of our community, starting businesses, revitalizing neighborhoods, and enriching our city with their unique traditions and cultures.

Gather your friends, colleagues, or community members and participate in the Race for Refugees as a team! Gather a team of 5 or more individuals and save $5 per registrant!

During registration, participants have the option to choose between a R4R7 t-shirt, or upgrade to a R4R hooded sweatshirt for an additional $30! *Hoodies are only available while supplies last. Shirt cannot be guaranteed if ordered after March 31 Shirts guaranteed for the first 500 registrants
