The Spring Classic is the original MMM and we made it the toughest ride you could ever imagine. It is always held on the third Saturday of June, and is limited to 1,500 riders. It is a road bike event and is a ride on the toughest terrain Michigan has to offer and will test you both mentally and physically. It is one of the most grueling and challenging rides you will ever participate in.

Nothing compares to the hills of this ride matched up with the early season timing. Four routes to choose from: a 50K teaser, a 100K metric century, a 160K, (100 mile century), and for those who dare… a 200K double metric with almost 10,000 feet of climbing!

Petoskey to Wilderness: A Fully Supported 3-Day Bikepacking Adventure

Ride the Lake Michigan shoreline, camp under the stars, and experience bikepacking—

without the stress of figuring it all out

    yourself.

    [P-W Collage.png]

Over three days, we’ll follow the Lake Michigan shoreline, roll through small towns, share good meals, and end at the edge of the state in Wilderness State Park. It’s not about speed or mileage—it’s about slowing down, getting outside, and enjoying the ride.

This is bikepacking, the J.P. Wanderwheels way: simple, supported, and built for connection.

This is a fully supported, guided bikepacking trip designed to take the guesswork out of your first (or next) adventure.

We handle the logistics so you can focus on riding, relaxing, and taking it all in.

This ride is a great fit if you:

    • Are comfortable riding ~20–40 miles per day

    • Are curious about bikepacking (even if you’ve never done it before)

    • Want an adventure—but not a sufferfest

    • Appreciate good people, good food, and a good route

From Bayshore Park in Petoskey, we’ll roll onto the rail trail, cruising a mostly flat route of pavement and crushed limestone, with plenty of tree cover along the way.

    Your registration includes:

? Curated 3-day route through northern MIchigan

? Ride support + experienced guides (Jim & Pete)

? Meals + snacks during the trip

? Camps + overnight logistics handled

? A small group experience (limited to ~10–12 riders)

All for just $130 per rider

    Day 1

We roll out of Petoskey and settle into the rhythm of the ride—lake views, conversation, and the kind of miles that feel good. Desitnation: Wilderness State Park. This place is something special – sandy beaches stretching along Lake Michigan, big skies, and a group campsite we can confidently say is the nicest we’ve ever experienced.

    Day 2

Enjoy the park. See the sites. Maybe visit Mackinaw City if we're feeling it.

    Day 3

We make our way back to Petoskey, reminiscing about our wonderful Wilderness wander.

Welcome to TriWalloon, a triathlon staged in the increasingly popular Walloon Village. The pristine waters of Walloon Lake are located between Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan and offer a stunning

setting for a triathlon. The event consists of a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike. Our races have proven to be a great event for all, from the beginner athlete who wants to attempt their first triathlon, to the seasoned and elite athletes who race every weekend. Relay teams are also encouraged for the triathlon. Male, female and co-ed are welcomed. This event will make for the ideal destination race for all. Come for the race, stay for the weekend!

TriWalloon has become a favorite with many multi-sport athletes from around the state. We started in 2017 with 120 athletes. Now, just a few years later we sell out with over 350 athletes registering each year.

    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Trivium Racing has been dreaming of producing this epic event for years, and we’re thrilled to finally unveil our exciting new race plan. This event will feature a 100-Mile, 100-Kilometer, and

50-Kilometer Ultra, as well as a relay option for the 100-Mile. The highlight of this course will be crossing the top of Michigan's lower peninsula from Lake Michigan to Lake Huron. The 100-Mile course will be point-to-point, beginning in Petoskey and concluding in Alpena. The 100k course will also be a point to point race finishing in Alpena. Our 50K race will feature an out and back course from Alpena that will have very manageable cutoffs and great running surfaces! Athletes will navigate a variety of terrain, including single-track trails, gravel roads, limestone paths, and seasonal roads. While no 100-mile race is ever easy (and we know you wouldn’t want it to be), our goal is to make this event as approachable as possible for first-timers while still delivering a rewarding experience for

seasoned vets. Special awards will be given to those finishing the 100-mile race in under 24 hours, and we’ll also have a generous cutoff time to encourage more participants to tackle this incredible course. You can expect frequent, well-stocked aid stations approximately every 5 to 8 miles to keep you fueled and supported throughout the race.
