5K - Finish inside stadium with all the Triathletes and get a finisher's Medal and post party FUN. All 5K participants also get an Old College Tri shirt.

The Old College Tri returns! We have A&M Aggies, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Longhorns, Nebraska Huskers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, SMU Mustangs, North Texas Eagles, Rice Owls, Boomer Sooners, OK State Cowboys, King's Point Midshipmen, West Point Cadets and many others supporting their alma mater! BRING IT race day in your college gear and give it one more Old College Tri!

The swim will be in the Lazy River. The swim distance will be 245 yards. Get ready to jump in and enjoy a push straight to the exit!

TEAM COMPETITION: We will have teams for male, female, coed. This is not a relay. If you sign up a team we add all three disciplines (Swim, Bike, Run ) together and the team with the lowest time wins a team trophy. You can sign up as a team and still be eligible for overall and age group awards. This is just a fun way to compete with others and have bragging rights as a team champion.

40 Yard Dash: There will a 40 yard dash champion in each age group. Save a little so you can sprint at the end and be the sprint champion in your age group. First place Trophies for each age group champion

WEATHER POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.

If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.

Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.

It is so important to us to have at least one event each year dedicated to one of God's gifts, BABIES! We're taking things up a notch this year. On top of raising funds for Pregnancy Loss and SIDs Research, we will also be helping single moms and low-income families receive much needed items such as formula, diapers, clothes, etc. You can run or walk in either our 5K or 1 Miles events and receive your very own FINISHER MEDAL! Place top three in you age group and win an ADDITIONAL MEDAL!

Denton Breakfast Kiwanis (DBK) invites you to the 44th Annual Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally!

This year we offer six routes, ranging from 8 miles to 62 miles, giving riders a beautiful fall cycling experience through northern Denton County and surrounding North Texas roads. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly ride, scenic countryside miles, gravel adventure, or a long-distance challenge, there is a route for every level of rider.

Our featured routes include the 8-Mile Family Ride, 21-Mile Scenic Ride, 34-Mile Scenic Ride, 35-Mile Gravel Ride, 48-Mile Endurance Ride, and 62-Mile Challenge Ride.

Riders can expect well-marked routes, fully stocked rest stops, SAG support vehicles, and a great finish-line celebration.

Join us on Saturday, November 21, 2026, and help support the children of Denton County and the many community service programs of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club.

Event Information

Join us for the 44th Annual Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Denton High School, 3001 Bronco Way, Denton, Texas.

The Turkey Roll is a long-standing Denton tradition that welcomes riders of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly ride, a scenic route through North Texas, or a longer endurance challenge, there is a course for everyone.

Packet Pick-Up

Early Packet Pick-Up

Riders may pick up rally packets from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at Denton Bicycle Center, 1700 N. Elm Street, Denton, TX 76201.

On-Site Early Packet Pick-Up

On-site packet pickup will be available Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Denton High School.

Day of Rally Packet Pick-Up

Day-of-rally packet pick-up and registration will be held at Denton High School between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Routes

Choose from six great routes designed for every rider level:

• 8-Mile Family Ride – A fun and approachable route for families, beginners, and casual riders.

• 21-Mile Scenic Ride – A comfortable distance featuring scenic North Texas roads.

• 34-Mile Scenic Ride – A longer route for riders wanting added mileage and challenge.

• 35-Mile Gravel Ride – A mixed-surface adventure for riders who enjoy gravel and backroads.

• 48-Mile Endurance Ride – Built for experienced cyclists seeking a stronger test of stamina.

• 62-Mile Challenge Ride – Our premier long-distance route for riders ready to go the extra mile.

All routes begin and end at Denton High School. Routes will be clearly marked, with rest stops and rider support along the way.

Rider Information

• Helmets are required for all riders.

• The Turkey Roll takes place rain, snow, or shine.

• No refunds.

• Riders should obey all traffic laws and ride safely.

• Support vehicles and volunteers will be stationed throughout the course.
