    ๐Ÿš€ Get ready, Nanaimo โ€” weโ€™re back!

Dynamic Race Events is pumped to bring you the 9th Annual Westwood Lake Triathlon on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at beautiful Westwood Lake Park in Nanaimo.

๐ŸŒŠ The Swim: A refreshing dip in Westwood Lake (we promise, no sharks โ€” just a solid swim support team cheering you on). Transition is right there in the parking lot, so no excuses for slow moves.

๐Ÿšด The Bike: Buckle up for Canadaโ€™s most honest bike course! Rolling west of Hwy 19, through East Wellington โ€” this is a course that wonโ€™t sugarcoat your effort. Both distances share the same opening 10 km: a chance to size up your competition before you dig in. Standard athletes will cruise past Brannen Lake before making a return to the lake.

๐Ÿƒ The Run: A lap of glory (or 2 for Standard athletes) around the hard-packed trail circling Westwood Lake, with a finish chute and post-race celebration waiting at the main beach. Thatโ€™s where the cheers, the community, and your hard-earned finish line moment all come together.

๐Ÿ“ Why Nanaimo? Minutes from downtown, 90 minutes from Victoria, and a scenic ferry ride away from Vancouver. In other words: no excuses. Pack your goggles, bike shoes, and trail legs โ€” Westwood is calling!
