The Maine Coast Marathon is a 5k, half marathon, marathon, and running event held on Saturday, May 1, 2027. It is located at 1 High Street in Kennebunk, Maine.

Registration for the Kennebunk Free Library 29th Edition 5K is now open! Preregistration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8. Same day registration begins at 4:00 p.m. on Race Day: Friday, July 10. (Same day registration costs are $45 for adults; $30 for children.)
Our scenic, USATF-certified course begins and ends in the library parking lot, winding through peaceful local neighborhoods and the beautiful and perfectly-maintained Hope Cemetery and Woods trails.
Following the race, join us for a party on the library lawn, with live music, food, and a beer tent!
Prizes will go to the top male and female finisher in each of eight age categories.
Next year is our 30th anniversary! To celebrate, we are reflecting on how far we've come. If you have participated in past races, we would love to hear your stories and see your photos. You can share them on social media or email them to the address below.

Come run with us on a USATF certified course that begins and ends at beautiful Kennebunk Beach. The course winds through a shaded, beachside neighborhood and finishes alongside the Atlantic. Post-race snacks, beverages and kid activities provided.
The 1k Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30 AM and the 5k road race begins at 8:45 AM.

Register before July 7th to receive a discount entry fee.
The annual Drakes Island Road Race is back again this year! In addition to the 5K, we will have the 4th annual Kids Fun Run, which will be an untimed event from the Jetty to the Community House (approx 1/3 mile). All runners and their supporters are invited to post-race refreshments at the Community House.
Pre-race bib number and shirt pick up will be held at the Community House (8 Maple St) on Friday, July 17th, from 5-6 pm.

No Refunds. In the event of catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or extreme events beyond race managements’ control every effort will be made to hold the race on an alternate date. If this is not possible, the race will be transformed to a virtual event where participants run the course & submit their results on their own.
Pick from a 5k or 10k. The courses wind through our beautiful trail system and end at our headquarters with a party you won't want to miss! The events will feature music all day, a beer tent, delicious food and games for the whole family!
Everyone who registers before noon on July 15 gets a shirt!
Check in and day-of registration begins at 9:00 AM, and the races start at 10:00 AM.
