Sri Chinmoy Yarra Boulevard Half Marathon, 10km & 5km

AM:PM.RC started in Melbourne in December 2014 when Nicholas, Elizabeth, Dan, and Ben decided to build a crew worth showing up for, twice a week, every week. Nearly a decade on, around thirty members from all backgrounds, indigenous, immigrant, local, and travelling, gather under their motto, Strength to Strength. The philosophy is straightforward: individual progress and collective growth are the same thing. Show up, contribute, support, and the whole crew moves forward together. Art, music, and photography thread through the community alongside the running. Tuesday evenings find them at the iconic Tan Track, Thursday mornings at Princes Park. Two routes, two moods, one crew that has been turning up since 2014.

In May 2022, Darren Templeton launched Run the Tan RUN CLUB at Melbourne's iconic Tan Track, the distinctive tan-colored gravel loop in the Royal Botanic Gardens that draws runners from around the world. Inspired by the city's annual charity event but seeking something more social and inclusive than traditional Saturday morning park runs, he built a crew centered on a simple philosophy: show up as you are, at whatever pace feels right. The club now draws around 50 members, parents, corporate workers, seasoned runners, and newcomers, who gather every Saturday at 08:00 near Pillars of Wisdom. What sets them apart is what happens after the workout: the crew reconvenes at a local café for coffee and conversation, a ritual that often becomes the heart of the experience. Qualified coaches support every pace group, and there is no judgment or pressure, just people running together toward better physical and mental health.
