26.2 Miles Marathon Relay Run

Ready for a challenge? The Woodstock CT Marathon takes you through 26.2 miles of stunning rural Connecticut countryside with nearly 2,000 feet of elevation gain. This is not your flat, fast course—expect rolling hills, scenic backroads, and a true test of your endurance through the beautiful Quiet Corner.

Race Options:

Full Marathon - Individual runners tackling the complete 26.2-mile course

Relay Teams - Share the challenge with 2-5 teammates

2026 Theme: Totally 80s! Break out your leg warmers, neon, and best '80s gear for costume prizes and a fun throwback atmosphere at this year's race.

Why Run Woodstock? This grassroots community event has raised over $40,000 for Community Kitchens of Northeastern Connecticut (CKNECT) and other local charities. Every registration supports food access throughout the region. Our motto is, "It takes a community to run a marathon"—and you'll feel that support every step of the way from our incredible volunteers, neighbors who gather to cheer on the runners, local sponsors, and fellow runners.

Course Details: The challenging course features rural roads with blind turns, some unpaved sections, and shared traffic. Our community-driven race emphasizes safety, camaraderie, and the satisfaction of conquering a tough course for a great cause.

Race Day: 8:00 AM gun start; start and finish are in different locations.

Join us for an unforgettable race experience in historic Woodstock, Connecticut!
