Race shirts to all pre-registered and others while supplies last.

    The Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Committee invites you to run with us in the 29th Annual Gloucester Township Scholarship 5K Run and One Mile Walk on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

    Proceeds from the event fund college scholarships for high school students residing in Gloucester Township.

    The One Mile Walk/Run will begin at 8:30 am.

    The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00 am.

    Runners and Walkers check in starts at 8:00 am.

    Race shirts guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.

    Registration Fees – 5K Run/Walk- $25 One Mile Walk -$10

    Late Registration – Race Day – 5K Run/Walk - $30

    Where is the race taking place?

    Gloucester Township Municipal Complex – 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township, NJ

    What is the course?

    5K Course starts approximately 200 yards from the Senior Center on Chews Landing Road and loops through Police patrolled streets ending in the Municipal Complex parking lot.

    One Mile Walk - two loops around the Veteran’s Park track, with two small loops within the two loops.

    Is there race day registration?

    Race day registration is available from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

    Will I receive a shirt?

    Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.

    How is the race timed?

    Linmark Sports is authorized timing company that has timed our race for the last 28 years.

    How will I get my results?

    Linmark will post results immediately as participants cross the finish line. Results will also be available online later that day.

    What are the race categories?

    Awards will be presented to First Male Overall, First Female Overall, First Gloucester Twp. Resident Finisher, First Parent & Child Duo Finishers

    Age Groups – Top 3 Males & Females - 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

    Is the race children and stroller friendly?

    Yes. Those pushing strollers are asked to start in the back.

    Is race registration refundable?

    Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is a rain or shine event.

    Where do I get my bib and race shirt?

    You can pick up your bib and race shirt on race day, starting at 8:00 am, in the Senior Center At The Gloucester Township Municipal Complex - 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township, NJ

    Is there food?

    We have a bountiful-race spread for our runners and walkers.

    Where are your restrooms?

    We have indoor facilities! No need to worry about smelly portable restrooms.

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):
