THE CALDWELL CLASSIC - a memorial 5K RUN/WALK honoring Theresa DiMasi and Marie LanFrank

The Caldwell-West Caldwell Education Foundation (CWCEF) invites you to our Annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This community-wide event honors the legacies of two of the CWCEF's Founding Members, Theresa DiMasi and Marie LanFrank. Their vision of helping every student in our district be successful is still very much at the heart of our mission today.

This year, we are thrilled to announce that Iron PT, The Rotary Club of the Caldwells, and The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex are teaming up to donate $1 for every mile registered! Every step you take helps us make a bigger impact. A huge thank you to these amazing Dollar Per Mile Sponsors, along with our PREMIER sponsors: Millenium Fire and Leddy Home Improvements!

SPECIAL THANKS to the Caldwell and West Caldwell Police Departments, the CWC Board of Education, our school principals, teachers and maintenance department for their efforts in ensuring a safe and successful event!

The CWCEF would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you.... every one of you, every volunteer, sponsor, family and participant that has taken their time and blessed us with their generosity in order to help make each school year a success... Without you, what we do would not be possible! Visit www.CWCEF.org for more information on our programs and grants.

The Valerie Fund relies on the dollars raised to help the children who live in our community. The Walk and 5K Run will support our mission to provide comprehensive health care for children with cancer and blood disorders. Every step you walk or run and every dollar you raise helps at The Valerie Fund Centers. Patients receive far more than treatment for their physical illnesses. Our philosophy is that to truly heal the children with whose care we are entrusted, we must treat them emotionally, socially, and developmentally, as well as medically.
