    The Omaha Triathlon is celebrating its 17th year by returning to Lake Cunningham

    The Omaha Triathlon is the ONLY Olympic Distance Triathlon in the State of Nebraska!

    Race Options:

    • Olympic Distance (Individual and Team Relay)

    • Sprit Distance Age Group Individual and High School Individual

    • Duathlon

    • Aquabike

    • Open Water Competitive Swim

    • Corporate Triathlon Competition Category (Team Relay)

    • (Must have 3 Team Members - Each Person Completes 1 segment (Either swim, bike, run)

    Athletes do not have to be a resident of a state to win that state’s championship. Any age group athlete competing in an age group division is eligible to win any state championship.

    Official Race Start Time is 7:00 AM on Sunday!

    The Bike course is on Lake Cunningham Road, North 72nd Street and Highway 36/Bennington Road. The Run Course in around the newly paved and scenic Lake Cunningham Recreation Area Lake. Full Course maps are posted at the event page for the Omaha Triathlon at www.raceomaha.com.

    • Post Race food featuring "The Pancake Man" with pancakes and sausage for all competitors included with your registration fee. Additional guests may be purchased with your registration for guests (i.e. family and friends).

    • The Campground features shower and bathrooms facilities just for reserved guests. Please email XXXXX to request a RV reservation!

    • Overall Top 3 Male and Female Awards for Individual Olympic and Sprint Triathlon.

    • Awards for top 3 in each age group individuals for both Olympic and Sprint Triathlon.

    • Awards for Top 3 Overall High School Age 15 to 19 years for Male and Female

    • Awards for top 30% of relay teams. If 20 teams registered, 6 Teams will receive awards.

    • Awards for Top 3 Corporate Relay Teams.

    • Top Female and Male in Aqaubike/SwimBike and Duathlon/Run-Bike-Run.

    • High Quality Technical Racing T-Shirt (not guaranteed for late registrations)

    • Voluntary Bike Drop off available Saturday (Official Times posted in Athlete Guide approximately 2 weeks prior to race date)

    On Your Mark, Get Set...

    It's time once again for the DUNDEE DASH 5K, now in it's 5th year!

    The race will be held on SATURDAY AUGUST 22nd, 2026, and will be the kick-off event for the day-long festival. The 5K run will go through Dundee Memorial Park and Elmwood Park. The race will start and finish at 51st and Underwood. Packet Pickup will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday August 21 at the Dundee Dell, 5007 Underwood Ave, Omaha, NE and Race morning from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM near the start and finish line.

    Medals for the top 3 male and female overall finishers. We also have the following age groups for males and females:

    1-19 years old

    20-29 years old

    30-39 years old

    40-49 years old

    50-59 years old

    60-99 years old

    There is no "double-dipping" on medals.

    Register by Wednesday, August 5th to guarantee a T-shirt.

    Go Girl Run 5K is a unique race for women and girls that will be held on Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2026 at 8 am at the

    Peak Performance store, 78th and Cass. The run takes place on the Keystone Trail.

    Our Mission: To encourage and motivate women and girls to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle through running. Girls who stay active are more likely to develop positive coping skills, increased self-worth and increased confidence.

    Race Details:

    1. Kids run goes first;

    2. All participants who finish will receive a finishers medal;

    3. Age group awards as well;

    4. Pancake man is back. A pancake meal for participants is included in price. Tickets for a meal for family and friends on day of race for $7.00 each.

    Come run a personal best like your life depends on it, along the moonlit trails of Standing Bear Lake. See your breath hit the air as your pulse quickens and your heart pounds in fear of all things that go bump in the night!!

    Entry fee includes registration for The Bones Run, a fabulous t-shirt, glow necklaces, and an invitation to the after-party. The after-party will start at 7:45 pm at Legends Patio Grill and Bar (6910 North 102nd Circle, Omaha, NE) with appetizers and a refreshment coupon provided to each participant. Awards ceremony will begin at 8:30 pm. Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female along with age group awards The Bones Run 5K is a night-time themed run hosted by the Omaha Running Club at Standing Bear Lake (132nd Street and Papio Lake 16 Rd N at the first parking lot) this is the north entrance on 132nd Street south of Military Rd. It is our goal to provide a safe, fun and possibly scary event for the community. The course will be an out and back “dark” course, with a water stop along the course. We do encourage headlights for the run. Costumes are encouraged and we give awards for the best costumes. The minimum age for this run will be 18 years old unless accumpanided by a parent

    or guardian.. No pets on the race course.

    We will cap this event at 250 participants, so sign up today. You won’t want to miss an evening…on the dark side.
