Come out and join us for the second annual 3 mile/1mile memorial run for Debbie Baxter on Saturday March twenty-eighth! This race is a tribute to the light that Debbie Baxter brought into this world and the love she showed for her community. This race is also being held to benefit the American Heart Association, Osborn Church, and the Haven House. Our race track has changed this year to the Piggott Sugar Creek Country Club. Participants will run the pathway of the club twice to make just under 5k. This race route is completely paved. No dress code, but Debbie's favorite color was red if you'd like to support her even more! Runners/walkers of all paces are welcome to join in on the fun! Packet pickup will be day of race. The 5k will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 1 miler will begin at 8:15 a.m.. Please be aware that if there is inclement or severe weather the race may be postponed or canceled.     Come out and join us again this year for the Ultimate Color Run, a fun, family-friendly event where every step supports a great cause. The race will begin at Ultimate Fitness in Kennett, Missouri, and this year we are proud to be running for the kids for multiple meaningful reasons.

    A portion of the race proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and another portion will help fund Heartland Camp, which will be held this summer at First United Methodist Church. Your participation helps make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community and beyond.

    Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome! Participants can choose from:

    5K route

    10K route

    1-mile route

    unable to walk/run but want to help the kids register as a spirit runner to make a donation.

    Along the way, you’ll be splashed with vibrant color powder as you move through the course, making for a fun and energetic experience. The route is nice and flat, perfect for seasoned runners and first-time participants alike.

    Color powder stations on all routes. Water stations on 5k/10k routes.

    5k/10k will be a timed event. 1Mile event is a fun run (no timing provided).

    Finisher Medals will be given to all Participants.

    Overall Male/Female will receive awards in the 5k/10k events.

    Top 3 place awards given in each age group Male and Female in the 5k/10k events.

    You can register online until April 10th 11:59pm.

    Half Marathon: Race begins at Bland Park at 7am.

    10K: Race begins at Bland Park at 8am and returns to same point.

    5K: Race begins at Bland Park at 8am and ends at Harmon Park. A shuttle will leave from the 5k finish line from 9am to 10am to take 5k Racers back to Bland Park.

    Fastest Kid In Town Race: Race begins at 9:30 am inside the festival grounds near Champions Gymnastics.

    The 6th annual Running on the Ridge welcomes new and returning participants! We look forward to another great race with options of a 5K, 10K, 1 mile dog jog/fun run and 10K ruck! The 5K & 10K runs and 10K ruck course routes will be through downtown Paragould & on a portion of the 8 Mile Creek Trail with the start and finish at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The dog jog will be around the Greene County Fairgrounds. This year’s race will benefit the Henry Wrinkles Foundation.

    • All participants will receive a FREE ticket to Saturday night’s Rodeo on the Ridge!

    • All participants will receive a finisher prize & those registered BEFORE May 10th will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

    • Packet pick-up will be Friday, May 29th from 5pm-7pm at Harmon Park in Paragould.

    • Race timing will be provided by Stearns Race Timing for the 5K and 10K racers.

    • All dogs must be on a leash at all times and cleaned up after.

    • All racers under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

    NEA has been missing a 4th of July race for years now. In this country we have Freedom, we have freedom to Run and we have the freedom to run a July 4th race and finish with pride. We will be hosting the Freedom Finishers 5K at Paragould's Rotary Park on July 4th starting at 7:30AM. The course will be an out and back on the 8 mile ditch trail.

    Entry fee is $30 for non-military members 16 and older. Those not old enough to drive yet are discounted to $15.

    Service members (Military, Police, and Fire) can use coupon code "Military" to get $10 off the entry fee. Please have your military ID available at check-in on race morning to receive your bib.

    T-shirt cutoff is 6/22 so please register early to insure you get one. Extras are first come, first serve until we run out.

    Come out and enjoy the run and create a new tradition. Runners, Walkers, Strollers and 4-legged friends are all welcome to participate.
