Every Sunday at 6:15 AM in Taman Jubli Perak, the crew gathers for medium-distance outings at an easy conversational pace, followed by brunch where the real connections happen. The identity is embedded in the name itself: that simple, honest feeling of "that was nice" after moving together through the city. No fees, no gatekeeping, just genuine people who show up for each other.
Weekend Pacers began in July 2023 when four friends in Bandar Seri Begawan decided to make their weekends count. What started as a casual idea quickly became a vibrant community built around running for all abilities. The crew believes running builds more than fitness, the discipline, endurance, and resilience earned on the road carry into every corner of life. Friends, family, and coworkers all run together here. Weekend Pacers welcomes every pace and every background, organizing into groups so no one runs alone. Their weekly heartbeat is the WP Sunday Social, running past landmarks like Masjid SOAS and the RIPAS bridge with dedicated pacers leading each group.
