Firefighters!

Pensacola Sports is excited to host the annual Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge on April 10-11, 2026.

Test your skill, strength, and stamina on the sugar-white sands of Pensacola Beach. Register a team or challenge yourself and do the course solo. The Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge is a great family-friendly event to build camaraderie, compete, have fun, and win!

There will be Individual and Team Firefighter Challenges and bring the kids out to try the Kids Challenge, happening on the same course with obstacles that simulates the same obstacles as the firefighters.

NEW! kids challenge will take place on the same course as the firefighters and simulate the same obstacles in kid form.

Kids must be 5 - 12 years old to participate. Space is limited!

Kid Challenge Format:

This is a time based competition. We will have two courses going at the same time, but just as the adults, they are not competing against each other. Age group winners will run three deep, (1st, 2nd & 3rd will be awarded)

Come run in Paradise! 2026 marks the 17th annual Gulf Coast Half Marathon @ Pensacola Beach. A must-do race by the locals and a Destination race for those who visit. This flat, certified Half Marathon will have you feeling at home on the beach. With themed water stations and scenic white sand, Gulf front views, you'll never want to stop running.

• Wetsuit (optional but encouraged if you race in one)

• Race belt, sunglasses, and typical race gear

• Water bottle

Join us for the First Waves 2 Wine 5K. In Gulf Breeze / Pensacola Beach.

It’s a Point-to-point Run / Competitive Walk. Staring out in the Beautiful neighborhoods of Gulf Breeze. Going over the Bob Sikes Bridge. And Finishing at the SandShaker.

There will be Free Beer/Wine and Refreshments- at the Sandshaker.

There will Be the BEST DJ Party on the Gulf Coast. (D J BLAZE from FM 93 BLX Mobile)

The First 200 to Register will get a Custom Waves to Wine- Fully Sublimated Longsleeve -Island tech shirt. (Everyone else will still get a shirt (sizes will not be guaranteed), but no one will get 2 shirts.

ALL Runners and Walkers will receive a Finishers medal!

And we will have age group awards in 5-year increments for the runners and 10-year increments for the walkers.

Packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Pensacola on Friday, March 1, and Sandshakert/Pensacola Beach on Saturday, March 2nd race morning.

A Pensacola Beach Favorite! This is a FUN and HOT American Made event for the entire family. Locals and tourists will love our scenic, flat, and yes, hot 5k. A fun-filled event with a great after-party at the Tiki Bar is the best way to start your celebration.

Registrants will experience a professionally timed race and one of the best Post-Race Parties around, including beer, hot dogs, and watermelon! The Sneaky Tiki will be offering $3 Bloody Mary’s for Race Registrants to enjoy!

Available anywhere you can find a spot. There is ample parking on neighborhood streets off Via De Luna and in some parking lots. Please do not block driveways and respect businesses.
