We are excited to announce the 3rd Edition of the Perth Hills Gran Fondo for 2026 on the Sunday, 29th March 2026.

The Perth Hills Gran Fondo has its roots from the City of Armadale Grand Fondo which historically is the first ever Gran Fondo ever held in Western Australia in 2014 and thus no new arrival to the scene of community participation events.

This ride will once again offer the choice of three distances which transverse through the Perth Hills covering Kalamunda, Gooseberry Hill, Boya, Darlington, Mundaring, Carmel and Pickering Brook, all commencing for Gooseberry Hill.

Our charity partner for 2025 is STREET FRIENDS WA who are local Western Australian charity fund raising and operating to assist the homeless in our community with clothing and bedding throughout the year.

The level of homelessness in our local community is on the rise with the cost of living and economic as well as social impacts in homes and homelessness is across all demographics in Australian culture which we need to help reduce.

Make every kilometer that you ride assist Street Friends WA with their mission.

Welcome to the home of Cape to Cape MTB, Australia’s largest and most popular four day MTB stage race. Based in the South West of Western Australia, this iconic riding experience includes access to stunning private trails, vineyard visits, brewery finishes and some of the warmest hospitality the region has to offer.

Starting off with Cape Kids and our Open Invitational Prologue on Wednesday the 14th October at Rider Registration and heading into four day stage race.

Starting the official ride at Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and finishing four days later at Cape Naturaliste, the course makes its way through a network of trails along the coast, through National Parks, forest, farm lands, mountain bike parks, and bush before heading up to the northern cape of the South West WA region.

There’s nothing too technical and it's ridable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and MTB skills. Check out the course overview.
