WILL RUN FOR FOOD 5K

All proceeds go to benefit: Rowan Helping Ministries West Food Bank - We will collect canned food at the race - please help us fill up some shopping carts!

Race Location: Centenary United Methodist Church 620 Centenary Ch. Rd.,Mount Ulla, NC 28125

Course: Centenary Church Rd. Starts at the church and ends at the church. Dogs are not allowed on the course with participants. Thank you for your cooperation.

1/2 mile fun run after 5k

Entry Fee: By Feb. 27th $30

On Race Day $35

Fun Run $15

Race day registration from 9:00 to 9:45am at church.

Top 3 Overall Male and Female - CASH PRIZES for overall winners - $100 1st place, $50 2nd place, $25 3rd place

Top 3 Male and Female Masters

Fun Run: Medals and t-shirts will be given to all fun runners that are preregistered. Also for 12 and under, we will recognize top 3 overall with a medal.

Overall winners not eligible for age group awards. Awards will not be mailed. They will be held for 2 weeks at the church for pick up.

His devotion to running spanned over 30 years, with an 18-year stretch of never missing a day, which served as a source of solace and strength as he faced the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease and Colon Cancer in his later life. In tribute to his remarkable journey, we proudly present the Robert Tucker Run 5K, a heartfelt homage to his enduring spirit and commitment to philanthropy.

    Proceeds from the 5K will be dedicated to supporting The Community Free Clinic, a vital healthcare resource in Concord.     Race Day Registration & Check-In: 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. - Register Early to get a T-Shirt and save $5, fee increases on race day ($25 pre-registered, $30 race day)!

    Race proceeds will go to support Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. One in 5 women and One in 13 men experience sexual violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime. The Family Crisis Council of Rowan exists to foster a community that is free of such interpersonal violence. Through direct service and education, our goal is not only to minimize, but to prevent the impact of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in and around Rowan County.

    Run, walk, or stroll with us to provide essential resources for survivors in our community!

    Since 1978, Family Crisis Council of Rowan has provided services such as emergency shelter, hospital accompaniment, court advocacy, case management and counseling to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, incest, and human trafficking in Rowan County.

    5K Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m. Fun Run: 10:15 a.m.

    5K Awards: Top three overall male and female winners will receive a prize and a medal. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group male and female will receive a medal.

    Cash Prizes for overall winners are as follows:

    1st place male overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card

    1st place female overall - medal plus $50 cash and $50 gift card

    2nd place male overall - medal and $50 cash

    Shirts: Short-sleeve T-shirts for preregistered runners. T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by April 1. Available to others on race day as supplies last.

    Course: The race starts and ends at West Rowan Elementary. Course will use downtown Cleveland, including the historic Main Street area. The course is flat and fast!!
