About this event

The myTeam Triumph Westport Triathlon, formerly the Kiwanis Westport Triathlon, is a fun family friendly event open to all ability levels. The swim is point to point at beautiful Compo Beach. The shorter bike and run courses are flat through lovely Compo Beach neighborhood streets. The event is ideal for first time timers, and families wishing to race together.

Awards for age group winners and relays and post race party for everyone will be provided after the race.

Tony Trujillo will be at the race finish providing massages for all of our racers!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

September 26

10 am - 1 pm: optional packet pick-up at TBD

September 27

7:00 am : Registration and timing chips pick-up open

8:00 am : Registration and timing chips pick-up close

8:10 am : Race Director talk in front of lifeguard shack

8:20 am : National Anthem

8:30 am : Race starts with the first wave of swimmers

8:30 am : Breakfast on the beach and massages

9:45 am : First results posted

10:15 am : Awards ceremony by the Compo Beach Pavillion

    Join us in running the 12th annual SoNo Half Marathon | 5K & Kids Fun Run Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at Veterans Park.

    Runners will enjoy a unique and exciting course through historic South Norwalk, along beautiful coastlines, down charming picturesque tree-lined streets, and past many of Norwalk’s notable landmarks and attractions.

    Race day kicks off at 8:30 AM with the start of the half marathon, which is immediately followed by the start of the 5K race. The Kids Fun Run begins at 11:30 AM.

    All participants receive awesome race swag including a high quality performance shirt, multifunctional headwear, FREE race photos, and a brag worthy finisher’s medal. Celebrate your finish at the post race party and enjoy FREE beer (21+), Pizza, Ice Cream, goodies provided by Stew Leonard’s, and MORE!
