Join us in kicking off Child Abuse Awareness Month by Running for CASA of West CenLA Beauregard and Vernon parishes! Join us to Run, Walk or Stroll on our fully paved, well-marked and measured route on Saturday, March 21st. The route is excellent for serious runners, as well as those who just enjoy supporting a great cause. This is NOT a chip-timed event; however timing will be available. In addition to all of the participation medals for those registered, our race will award a First Place Male, First Place Female, First Place Over 60, and First Place Child under 12 years old.

We hope you will join us for a morning full of fun, lots of color and great energy to show support and raise Child Abuse Awareness. Join us on Saturday, March 21st as we run for CASA! Start time is 8:30am. Online registration will close on March 20nd at 11:59pm. Late registration will be available in-person at 7:30 am on date of event (March 21st) and is $35 cash only.

*Please note: Any registration received after March 13th will not be guaranteed their preferred shirt size. Extra sizes will be available (while supplies last) on date of event to those who register after March 13th.

Per City of DeRidder policy, no dogs are allowed on or off leash at the 5K event.

The residential home provides comprehensive therapeutic services for children with significant emotional and behavioral needs. For more information on the children's home visit http://www.lmch.org/.

    Our volunteers will ensure that your experience is fantastic. There will be support vehicles and plenty of snacks along every route. When you cross the finish line, a hearty meal will be provided.

    The start time is 8:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church DeRidder on Saturday, May 16th. Please make sure you have a properly fitting helmet.     For those who would rather not ride a bicycle, we have a perfect alternative for you! A 1 mile guided walking tour of Historic Downtown DeRidder. You will be entertained by the tour guide with information about many historic buildings including the Hanging Jail and the first USO in the USA.

    Cancellation:

    If we foresee dangerous conditions that warrant cancellation, we will update you via email and Facebook. Registration for this event, is a non-refundable/ non-transferable donation.

    If we are not able to ride or walk, we will host packet pickup and the meal in the church gym
