The 2026 Kids Marathon Mile at LEGOLAND® is a 2026k, kids, marathon, running, and virtual event held on Saturday, January 17, 2026. It is located at 1 Legoland Drive in Carlsbad, California.
Welcome to the Sunshine Series Season Pass, home to 6 different races throughout San Diego County.
Whether you are looking for a stroll along the water, some scenic single track, or a challenging hill course, the ERS prides itself in offering trail runners the BEST race experience and atmosphere in the industry. Every event within the ERS offers multiple race distances, great course support, kid's races, and finish line festivals that the entire family can enjoy!
What's Included in the Season Pass:
Automatic Entry into the ERS Championship Series*
Entry into all 6 Sunshine Series events at discounted rate
VIP Goodie Bag (receive at 1st event of season)
Season Pass Medal at conclusion of series (must finish 5 of 6 events)
Season Pass ERS Gift at conclusion of series (must finish 5 of 6 events)
Our new Championship Series will be exclusively tied to our Season Pass registration. All runners looking to compete for the Championship will be REQUIRED to complete the 4 qualifying events. With leaderboard determined by LEAST total accumulated time. In all 3 Season Pass categories a Male and Female Champion will be crowned.
Not looking to compete in the championship or not sure you can race all events... no worries! If you choose not to compete and only run for yourself or for fun, then we welcome you to our Season Pass as well! More details on the Championship can be found HERE.
The Season Pass does NOT include upgrade options. If you are interested in upgrading to one of our longer distances within the races, you would just need to select the upgrade option in to have it included with your season pass registration. If you do not want to upgrade, please skip those options and proceed to check out. You can always upgrade (or downgrade) a race at a later date by reaching out via email. Plese note there are no refunds for downgrading.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FOR 2027!!
Kick off your Super Bowl Sunday with a 10K or 5K and race down the Coast Highway 101. Take in epic views of the Pacific Ocean and a few world-famous surf breaks.
Touted as one of the most beautiful race courses in Southern California, this out-and-back course will excite runners with its gradual downhill beginnings, challenged with some manageable uphill elements on the returns before delivering participants onto a sure-to-please final stretch through downtown Encinitas.
Running or walking the coast not enough for you? Then join our famous costume contest and win some great prizes.
Got kids that want to run? Join our Jr. Kook Run on Saturday (Feb 13) at packet pickup (open to ages 3-12)
Can't be there on race day? Then VIRTUALLY RUN the KOOK on your own time and location of choice. Packets for the virtual option will be mailed out on race week
Race Packet Mailouts... Can't make it to a packet pickup ir don't want the hassle of picking up your bib on race day, the Kook Run now offers Race Packet mailouts. These bibs will be mailed out 1 week in advance of the event.
