Introducing the Leisure Option for the Colors of Cancer 5K!

We understand that not everyone wants to race against the clock—some of you just want to soak in the atmosphere, enjoy the beautiful route, and support a great cause in a more relaxed way. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Leisure Option for this year’s Colors of Cancer 5K!

    What is the Leisure Option?

    • No Pressure: This option is perfect for those who want to walk, jog, or simply enjoy the event at their own pace without worrying about time or competition.

    • Flexible Distance: Feel free to complete as much or as little of the course as you like. Whether you do the whole 5K or just a portion, your participation is what matters most!

    • Community Spirit: You’ll still receive a race bib and be part of all the festivities, including the post-race celebration. However, you won’t be eligible for timed awards, so you can focus on the fun and the cause.

We’re all here to support the fight against cancer, so no matter how you choose to participate, your involvement makes a difference. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just enjoying a leisurely stroll, we can’t wait to see you there!

Leading up to the event, anyone who would like can share their journey in our Facebook group and funds to those in need will be distributed following the race day.

Feel free to post stories of any loved ones still with us or not that you would like to honor and remember in our Facebook Group through the year.

    Hope to see you there.
