Get Ready For An Epic Day In The Jungle !

Jungle Habitat is a really special place to ride. If you don't know the history, the park was a Warner Brothers Safari Park until it was abandoned in the 70s. In 2007 the park was cleaned up and building of a trail network was started by JORBA (which continues to this day). Remenants of the old park still remain and perhaps decendants of the original safari animals? Either way the park will be a good challenge, and who knows, maybe you'll have enough in you to escape the jungle.

    FUNDRAISING

A portion of event proceeds donated to West Milford First Aid.

DRRT Technical Trails Workshop - Sterling Forest South Gate Parking area

Saturday October 10 is all about technical riding. Sterling Forest offers it all - tight corners, technical climbs, rock roll downs. This is an on-trail experience and we will stop and feature different areas as we work our way along the trail.

We move at your pace. If the group is crushing it, we push further. If we need more time on the basics, we take it. That's the beauty of a clinic built around you.

Come for the skills. Stay for the stoke.

    When: Saturday October 10

    Time: 10 am - 1 pm

    Where: Tuxedo, NY

    Cost: $175/per person

Space is limited to 6 participants – be sure to register early!

A mountain bike in good working condition is required. Helmet required. Flat pedals, elbow and knee pads recommended.

This workshop takes place rain or shine.

    About DRRT:

Dirt Rock n Root Training's owner Kathi Krause has been around the bike block – from velodrome and road racing to cyclocross, XC and finally her true love: downhill. She spent a decade on the Pro downhill circuit, stacking up three Masters World DH Championships, five national titles and a win at the legendary Kamikaze Downhill.

After 25 years of racing, Kathi shifted gears to coaching and founded Dirt Rock n Root Training in 2011 . Since then, she's been helping riders find their flow on everything from lift-accessed bike parks to rocky, rooty singletrack. You'll find her leading her Technical Trail series of clinics in North Jersey or running women's clinics at Mountain Creek Bike Park. Her mission? Simple: Get more women and kids on bikes, help them crush fear and build a community that rides hard and supports harder.

When not coaching, you can find Kathi out doing what she loves most - shredding the rocks and roots of NJ or dropping into her home trails at Mountain Creek Bike Park.
