    Join us at Gumbuya World Running Festival presented by BFT Warragul for Victoria's WILDEST RUNNING FESTIVAL. Start with a 10km, 5km, or 2km race along closed roads in Victorian picturesque countryside, and then finish off with unlimited theme park fun as soon as you cross the finish line!

    All race entries include full-day access to everything Gumbuya World has to offer—think water slides, roller coasters, wildlife, and live entertainment all in one incredible location. Better still, runners will enjoy exclusive early access before the park opens to the public, giving you more time for rides and zero time in queues.

    We're back for year 2! Get ready for an unforgettable day of fitness, fun, and community spirit at the South East Running Festival! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just looking for a great day out with the family, this event has something for everyone.

    Distances:

    21km Half Marathon (Minimum 15 years old) - Commences at 7.00am

    10km (Minimum 10 years old) - Commences at 7.30am

    5km (Minimum 10 years old) - Commences at 8.00am

    1km Children’s Dash (Maximum 10 years old) - Commences at 8.30am

    Course Overview:

    Experience a whole new course. The run begins outside Dandenong Stadium and takes you along the Dandenong Creek up to Tirhatuan Park before returning back, running through the Melbourne Water Wetlands and cross the finish line in the Dandenong Stadium carpark.

    The Run for the Young Marathon is a thrilling date to circle on your Australian running calendar. It's a cherished tradition with over a decade of success, attracting enthusiastic runners from all corners. The marathon is a fantastic family event, welcoming participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're joining the 2.5km kids run or tackling the full 42.2km marathon, there's a race for everyone. This friendly, inclusive marathon brings the fun back into fun run! Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Yarra Valley, the Run for the Young Marathon is organised by the Bridge Builders Youth Charity. Every dollar raised from the event goes towards supporting Bridge Builders in their commendable work with young people. You're invited to join us - be it for a leisurely walk, a spirited run, or anything in between. Choose from the 2.5km kids run (for those 12 and under), 5km, 10km, 21.1km half marathon, or the full 42.2km marathon. The marathon course will welcome participants for
