The City of Casey's one and only Half Marathon event the Berwick Half is holding its fifth annual event. Featuring something for the entire family with 5 distances to chose from there is a: Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km, 5km, KIDS Mile (1.6km) and Junior Jog(Under 7's).Set within the picturesque Berwick Springs Park on a flat 5.25km circuit that allows Friends and Family great viewing and support options. Finishers Medals for ALL!

Yarra River Running Festival

Introducing the Yarra River Running Festival at Westerfolds Park, Templestowe on Sunday 23rd August 2026.

Choose your challenge from the 21.1km Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, or the family-friendly 2km Dash.

Set against the stunning trails of the Westerfolds Loop and the winding Yarra River, the day will feature a vibrant event village and an unforgettable race-day atmosphere — perfect whether you’re chasing a PB or soaking up the scenery.

All participants will receive a unique Yarra River finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher certificate to celebrate the achievement.

SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2026 The Dandenongs Trail Runners are hosting a FREE practice run along the course of the Rollercoaster Run in the lead up to the event. This ‘Rollercoaster Recce’ is effectively a self-supported run and you should use it as an opportunity to take all mandatory gear. Treat it like race day, but be aware the on-course support available on race day will not be there for the recce. EVENT START / FINISH LOCATION Kalorama Memorial Reserve, Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama VIC, Australia EVENT SCHEDULE * 7:00am - Meet and briefing at Kalorama Memorial Reserve. * 11:30 - Run concludes at Kalorama Memorial Reserve. RUN OPTIONS * 8km Local Loop * 12km Loop (Mad Mouse) * 23km Loop (Original) * Approx ~17km - the 23km minus Dodds track 23km Pace Options As you sign-up for the 23km, they will be invited to join one of four paces for the 23km loop: * Wombats (Slow) – 3:30 – 4 hrs * Possums (Medium) – 3:00 – 3 hrs 30mins * Kangaroos (Fast) – 2:40 – 3 hrs * Emus (Super Fast)

BARKIN’ MAD ULTRA 2026

Is a walk or run to help support Aus Hair of the Dog Resuce Inc. There are the following distances: 2km, 5km, 10km, 20km and 50km.

For the third year running, we bring you the Barkin Mad Ultra. What better way to spend a weekend than running with your best friend on beautiful native forest trails.

YOU DO NOT Need a Dog to Enter!

The Barkin’ Mad Ultra 2026, bought to you by Aus Hair of the Dog Inc., is an ultrarunning festival that celebrates the human animal bond. Dogs running to save dogs. Ultrarunners, let alone trail runners, are a different breed of people. Often the best running companions are those of the canine persuasion.

This event welcomes 400+ runners and walkers to challenge themselves and their four legged friends to collectively raise $30,000+ to support the work done by the Aus Hair of the Dog Inc. and educate on the predicament of the Baw Baw Shire dog shelter.

WHY?

Aus Hair of the Dog Rescue Inc. is a Victorian based rescue that is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs. Here are a just a few reasons the Barkin' Mad Ultra was established:

• Funding to house rescue dogs as they wait for their FurEver homes

• Create new economies for local communities

• Get more people into wild places

• Enhance the human animal bond

We have the chance to help make positive pawprints for change!

ESTABLISHED IN 2012 THE ROLLER COASTER RUN HAS BECOME A TRAIL CLASSIC FOR THE CITY OF MELBOURNE.

The event draws crowds of over 1,500 people each year to the beautiful, lush forest trails of the Dandenong Ranges.

Come and experience a trail run that delivers what it says on the box: a roller coaster of a trail event!

It’s fun, there’s ups and downs - both literally and figuratively - and by the end you feel giddy with excitement and a longing for more!
