Midwest Twin Cities Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Welcome to the Best Buy Run and Walk FIN's main event, now being held in the summer at the same great location during Charity Classic week. The in-person event is this event is open to all employees, vendors and community members and will be held on Wednesday, June 25th, at Donaldson Park, a short walk from Best Buy’s campus in Richfield. This event includes a 5K run or 1 mile walk option and is held in support of the Best Buy Foundation® Charity Classic to raise funds for Best Buy Teen Tech Centers™.

Key Registration Dates:

• 03/21/2025 - Early Access Registration.

• 04/07/2025 - Registration open for everyone.

• 05/28/2025 - Race shirts are no longer guaranteed after this date.

• 06/02/2025 - $5 increase to registration.

T-Shirts

All in-person Run/Walk registrants will receive a race t-shirt included in their registrations. These t-shirts are designed by a Teen Tech Center teen artist and the selected t-shirt design, as well as details about the artist, will be revealed at a later date.

Shirt and Bib Pickup: T-shirts and Bibs will be available for pick up on prior to the event on campus or at the race tent on the day of the race.

The Eden Prairie Optimist Club's 12th OK 5K walk/run is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Purgatory Creek Park, 13001 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie. Major sponsors of the 5k include the Eden Prairie Optimist Club and the city of Eden Prairie. Sponsors also include Brandpoint, HealthSource of Eden Prairie. Proceeds go to the community programs of the Optimists, including the Valleyfair trip for local Elementary School Patrols, Essay and Oratorical contests, Central Middle School Youth Appreciation and more. The Eden Prairie Optimist Club is a civic organization with an emphasis on programs that benefit and recognize the youth of Eden Prairie. An urban hometown celebration of Richfield's running community and culture, the Urban Wildland half takes place through the most scenic parts of the city! The Urban Wildland Half and 5K is presented by Wood Lake Nature Center, which 100% of proceeds from this race benefit environmental education. A partnership that has lasted over 50 years between the Richfield School District and Nature Center.

Virtual race registration INCLUDES shipping costs; your shirt (if you opt for one) and finisher medal will be mailed to you (domestic US only....for shipping out of the US, please contact us).

NOTE: Registrations after July 8 do not include a runner shirt.
