Kick off your weekend enjoying a scenic course and refreshing craft beer at the Bench Brewery in Beamsville. The new flat course resides beside the gorgeous escarpment in the Niagara Benchlands.

At Canaqua Sports, our goal has always been to host great events in exceptional locations. The Welland Community Boathouse is a unique location that brings the country into the city. This beautiful section of the Welland Recreational Canal is the perfect place for our Mid-Summer Classic Event

Midsummer Open Water Swim

Come and join us in the beautiful Welland Recreational Canal and pick your distance. Choose from our 2.0K, 4K and 10K distances

• Course: The course will be a 2.0 km loop. All swimmers will do 1, 2, or 5 loops depending on their chosen distance.

• The Mid-Summer Open Water Swim is open to swimmers of all ages 12 and up. We invite all those interested to join us and enjoy a great swim at this fantastic venue.

Mudskipper Midsummer SwimRun Challenge

Yes, its Back for 2026. We are very excited to bring back Mudskipper SwimRun Welland as part of our Mid-Summer Classic. Similar to the swimrun we do in June, this race includes 3K of swimming and 8K of running over 5 stages. A great distance for those looking to give swimrun a try for the first time, and for those who prefer a shorter, faster race!

NEW FOR 2026 is our Midsummer SwimRun Relay.

One person runs, and one person swims—a new type of swimrun. Grab a partner and give it a try.

St. Stephen School Welcome Back 5K

Beaver Island State Park, Lot #4, Grand Island, NY 14072

Join us for our fourth year at Beaver Island State Park! Experience beautiful waterfront views as you run the West River path on Grand Island.

All proceeds from this event benefit St. Stephen School on Grand Island. All funds raised go directly towards our Home School Association fundraising effort, which makes up a portion of our school budget. We thank you for supporting our school!

We're back for year two!

Ramblers Run is a fitness forward, family friendly event among the vines at Palatine Hills Estate Winery. Walk with the family, run solo, or stroll with your dog—this race is all about movement, community and celebration.

Race Day Schedule:

8:30 AM – Registration Opens

10:00 AM – 1.25 KM Family Fun Run/Walk

10:30 AM – 5 KM Race (timed)

11:00 AM – Food & Beverage Vendors Open

11:30 AM – 1.25 KM Dog Walk

11:45 AM – Winners Announced

3:00 PM - Event closes

*Please note:

The 1.25km run is a fun run and is untimed. The 5km race is timed- bib pick up available on the day of the event at the registration table. Gift bag included in 1.25km and 5km runs only.

Choose Your Run:

• 1.25 KM Family Fun Run/Walk– Great for kids, seniors, and casual walkers

• 5 KM Race (timed) – For runners, joggers, and the competitively curious with overall Men’s and Women’s winner prizes, plus prizes for top youth finishers.

• 1.25 KM Dog Walk – Bring your pup along for the fun

Prizes and Perks:

Every participant receives:

5 KM Race Awards:

Prizes will consist of gift baskets from the winery & local vendors.

Winners’ names will also be engraved on the Ramblers trophy displayed at the winery.
