Thep Sadet Trail

Founded in June 2024 by a former competitive trail runner, Faburunsclub in Chiang Mai, Thailand, offers a welcoming space for runners of all levels to embrace the joy of movement without pressure or competition. With about 40 members spanning a wide range of ages and abilities, the club fosters a supportive community where walkers, joggers, and runners share stories, celebrate milestones, and explore the city’s rich history together. Weekly runs vary in pace and distance—from gentle 5-kilometer strolls to challenging 21-kilometer routes—often highlighting Chiang Mai’s ancient temples, bustling markets, and scenic Ping River paths. Faburunsclub’s inclusive approach rejects a focus on personal bests, instead encouraging belonging and collective progress. By connecting locals and visitors through regular meetups and participation in regional events like the Chiang Mai Marathon, the crew champions a vibrant running culture that reflects the city’s unique blend of tradition and vitality. Membership is free and open to all who want to join the journey.
