In January 2025, Culture Run launched with a conviction: Paris needed new reasons to run. Born from the idea that every street corner holds a story, the crew treats the city itself as their coach. Around 60 runners from across the city gather each Saturday at 9:30 AM, lacing up to discover neighborhoods through fresh eyes. University students, corporate workers, families, and longtime Parisians meet via WhatsApp and hit the streets together, moving through centuries of culture while building something immediate and real. The routes vary, short loops through hidden passages, long riverside stretches, tempo work along the Seine, but the ritual stays constant: run the city, then linger over coffee. For Culture Run, running isn't measured in splits. It's measured in the moments between strides, the people beside you, and the parts of Paris you never knew existed.
Bromance Athletic Club started in 2017 when two lifelong friends decided to channel their bond into something bigger: running through Paris. What began as a simple marathon training plan has grown into a crew of about twenty runners who treat their Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday routes like pilgrimage. They've claimed three iconic Parisian spots as their own, Montmartre at Sunday dawn, Buttes Chaumont on Friday mornings, and the Canal de l'Ourcq midweek. Founded on the belief that running is a pretext for staying close and pushing further, Bromance Athletic Club sees every crew as a love story between friends and the road. Trail-obsessed and genuinely rooted in the joy of running together, they've built something tight-knit through years of early mornings and shared miles.
Golden Blocks was born in the neighbourhoods of Paris in September 2019, founded by Boro, Matthieu, and French athletics legend Ladji. What started as a simple mission to bring sport and community together through urban culture has grown into something much larger. Today, around 2000 runners from all backgrounds train together on the streets of Paris and its suburbs, guided by a DNA built from hip hop, lifestyle, music, and sport. Every Wednesday at 7pm, the crew takes to the streets for coached sessions led by Myriam and Ladji, turning familiar city blocks into tracks full of energy and purpose. Team spirit, self-confidence, and the values of athletics run through everything Golden Blocks does. This is where everyone belongs.
