Ready for an amazing trail running experience on Canada's West Coast?

A tough 28k, 50k and 50m with lots of elevation (4400 ft for the 28k, 10,075 ft for the 50k, 13,000 ft for the 50 mile) and spectacular views!

The Finlayson Arm 28k/50k/50m, is a mix of single track, double track and coastal mountain trails that are littered with Arbutus Trees and old growth forest. The run begins at the Goldstream group campsites at Goldstream provincial park in Victoria, BC. The run has numerous difficult climbs: Mt. Finlayson, Mt. Work, and Mckenzie Bight to Jocelyn Hill. Awesome views from all three of these difficult climbs and the Cascade Creek Waterfall while climbing out of McKenzie Bight.

Marathon, Outway Half Marathon, Westland Insurance 8K, or Island Savings 5K or Thrifty Foods Kids Run.

Our beautiful course weaves through the quiet streets with ocean views throughout Victoria and Oak Bay.

Plus we are a Boston qualifier, Abbott World Majors ranking event, a World Athletics World Ranking Competition and more. We see many runners reaching their personal best times on our course.

A few quick facts about the event in October.

• Choose your distance - Marathon, Half Marathon or 8K on Sunday, October 11, starting and finishing in downtown Victoria.

• The Kids Run and 5K events will take place on Saturday, October 10, starting and finishing at Willows Park in Oak Bay. The Kids Run registration will open on February 16, 2026

• There will be a course time limit of 6.5 hours for the marathon. There is no early start for any of the distances in 2026. Marathoners must complete the first 13K by 10:15 in order to be allowed to continue the marathon route. Individuals who have not passed the 13K mark by 10:15 will be given the choice to move to the half marathon event distance or withdraw from the event.

• This year we have added a GREEN BIB option. This means you can register and not receive a RVM garment, but still receive a bib and your medal. You will have the option during the green bib registration to select the charity that you would like us to make a donation to as part of the Green Bib option.

• Events will be capped for 2026. In 2025, the marathon and half marathon both sold out in July.

• There will be no strollers or pets allowed on the course. Nordic poles will only be allowed for mobility-impaired participants.

• There are no refunds or deferrals allowed for 2026. You can transfer your registration to another person up until October 7, 2026 for a fee. You can opt in to purchase Race Roster's Enhanced Refund Program.

2027 LIVE Goddess Run, Sunday, March 7, 2027 - Choose from a 10K or 5K Distance. Run takes place at Beaver / Elk Lake in Saanich, BC.

2027 VIRTUAL Goddess Run - You choose the distance 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon. Complete in one day or over a month or two.
