Welcome to the 2026 Run Amok Dick's and Dounuts Kick off 5K.

This years event will again include the flat and fast course you know and love. It will include the great people that put on the race and also the people you run with.

Also this year, We will be adding a couple of new twists to our race day. 1. Dick's and Dounuts this year Celebrating our Prime race sponsor and also adding some great donuts to our post race fun. 2. We will be continuing our twist on the shirts from last years run. No shirts will be offered thru this sign up page. We will be ordering thru another great sponsor, Alderson's/Printware's. You will sign up and pay for your race entry thru this site.     The course is flat and fast with two laps around scenic Capitol Lake.

    The Donut Dash 5K sold out, so be sure to register now to secure your spot. The race is limited to 300 in the 5k and 150 kids.

    All registration will be online and registration closes at 8:20 am on the day of the race.

    8:50 am: Gear check closes. Bags must be labeled with your bib number. Bags can be picked up after you finish the race by presenting your bib number.

    8:45 am: Kids Race

    9:00 am: 5K Race

    Olympia Host Lions Club is hosting the second annual "Stride for Sight." This event offers 5k, 10k, and 1-mile options that are open to all ages and abilities. Course begins at Horizons Elementary and continues onto the Chehalis Western Trail. Our 5k and 10k courses are USATF Certified. Walkers, runners, and wheelchair rollers, are all welcome. Strollers allowed for 1-mile run option only. Trained service animals welcome. Please, no pets. 100% of Stride for Sight proceeds benefit the Lions Low Vision Resource Center in Olympia, WA.

    Registration Fees (5k/10k):

    • Beginning April 1 - $40

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):
