Rocket Run 5K

The Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home features something for everyone. Saturday, April 11 will feature family-friendly activities including a free kids' run, one-mile fun run/walk, 10K, and 5K. Discounts are available for groups and families who enter the one-mile fun run/walk making this a great option for families or company wellness groups. The half-marathon and team-relay will be held Sunday, April 12 followed by a post-race party at Hoodletown Brewing Co.

10K - Half Challenge: Register for both events in a single transaction for a discounted fee. You are automatically entered into the Challenge. Participants who complete both events earn a lightweight hoodie and compete for special awards. There is a $500 prize if you win both races!

All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio. Events start and finish around Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Join us for Great Parks' third annual Pollinator Festival and 5K on Saturday, May 9 at Miami Whitewater Forest's harbor!

The festival celebrates all of nature's pollinators and the Spring season. As part of the festival, the Pollinator 5k is a timed, family-friendly run that allows you to support Great Parks' conservation efforts in the community. Registration includes a custom race medal, race t-shirt, vendor coupons/discounts, and Great Parks swag. Enjoy the scenery at Miami Whitewater Forest while running on our paved course.

Over $2,000 in Tri-State Running Company gift cards will be awarded to the overall top 3 male/female finishers and the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group.

After the race, be sure to enjoy live music from Mama Said String Band, live cooking demonstrations, a native plant sale, tree climbing, education stations, vendors, and food / adult beverages!

Early Bird Registration Giveaway: Register by April 10 to be entered in a drawing to win one of five $25 gift cards to Tri-State Running Company. Winners will be drawn randomly and notified by e-mail prior to May 9.

This will be a 5K race through the trails of the Norma Johnson Center located outside of Dover Ohio. Parking for the event, registration, check in, awards ceremony will all take place at the Yellowbrick on 39, an adjoining community business. Check in and day of registrations for the race will be from 8am to 9:15am. There will be a table located near the stage and barn at our host venue Yellowbrick on 39. Racers will walk a short distance to the starting line at the Norma Johnson Center Preservation Kiosk near the yellow barn. Racers should be at race starting line no later than 9:20am. The race will begin at 9:30am. The course will be mostly grass with some mulched, rooted or dirt areas. The terrain will be flat, a few steps, on a grade or up and down hills. Participants will be guaranteed a free t-shirt if registered through mail or online by May 3, 2026. Those who register after this date will not be guaranteed a free t-shirt. Overall race winners will be presented an award

along with age category winners. A drawing for door prizes will also occur during the awards ceremony.

The Canal Tavern 5k Run & Walk is a chip-timed race along the scenic Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Fort Laurens, Bolivar and the Canal Lands Park trailhead in Zoar. After the race, there will be an Octoberfest-style party on the patio of the Canal Tavern of Zoar. Proceeds from this race will benefit the development and maintenance of the Towpath Trail at Canal Lands Park in Tuscarawas County.

Racer registrations made by September 18, 2026 will receive a guaranteed free t-shirt for the race. If registered after this date, t-shirts will be handed out the day of the race on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

Day of race sign-in and registration will be held near the Canal Lands Park trailhead and the Canal Tavern of Zoar. A shuttle will depart from the Canal Tavern at 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM to take people to Fort Laurens (starting line).
