The Wapiti Bush Run was founded in 2015 by local coach Harvey Weber. Its inaugural year was a tremendous success, drawing more than 120 participants, and the event continued annually until 2017.
This event offers a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself while taking in the stunning autumn scenery of the Fort à la Corne Island Forest. The Melfort Cross Country Ski Club maintains nearly 20 km of trails year‑round for everyone to enjoy. All proceeds support trail infrastructure and nature conservation at the venue.
