Earn the (Almost) World Famous NK50k Finisher Sticker!Join us for a point-to-point tour of the Northern Kettle Moraine Ice Age Trail!It's time to welcome Spring to the Northern Kettle Trail Running Community ... which means it will most likely be snowing!At 7:00 AM, we will start at the Ridge Road Trailhead, just southwest of Sunburst Ski Hill. Transportation will be provided to the start from the finish (Greenbush Group Camp), leaving at 6:00 AM.After we're done, we'll enjoy some food and refreshments at the Group Camp Shelter.This stop is also where Aid will be provided to the 50k runners. Aid and access to drop bags for the 50k runners will also be provided at Mile 3.5 and at Mile 25. There is water available along the course at additional spots as well, at or near the backcountry shelters.The Schedule This event will sell out, so register soon!5:30-5:55 - 50K runner Check-in. 6:00 AM - The BUS will be leaving from the Greenbush Group Camp to take runners to the start at Ridge Road. 7:00 AM - The NK50K Starts at Ridge Road. Have fun! 9:00 AM - 25K runner check in.9:30 AM - The BUS leaves Greenbush Group Camp to take runners the the 25K Start at Crooked Lake.10:00 AM - NK25K run starts, have fun! Welcome back to Greenbush! Congrats on a great morning in the Northern Kettles! Celebrate with us at the Finish area Shelter.Aid Stations will include Water, Sports Drink, Coke, Mt. Dew and assorted normal "Ultra Aid Station" foods. And Finally...REMEMBER: This is a fun run. The best effort will be made to provide aid as scheduled and at those locations, but stuff happens, so go in to this run assuming you're on your own! First We Live Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity that was founded in memory of Nicole Moniz. Nicole was a supporter and champion of mental health during her life, both personally and professionally, as a social worker and community volunteer; in the wake of her untimely death, the First We Live Foundation was created in recognition of the special person she was and the connections she made with so many; and as a result, the Nicole Moniz Memorial 5k has become an annual event in her honor to raise awareness and fund our mission to support and cultivate access to integrated mental health programs and services for those who encounter societal barriers in identifying and attending to their mental health needs, especially youth and those engaged in helping professions.

First We Live Foundation Core Belief: The primary thing we, as humans, all have in common is that first we live. From the moment we come into this world, the thing that unifies each of us — that defines our existence and our purpose — is that we’re living beings. Living, therefore, must never be taken for granted. First we live… so we can. We live so we can both help and be helped. We live so we can experience the incredible moments and persevere through the challenging ones. We live so we can endure the pain and relish the joys. Through this core belief, we give ourselves the chance to first just live. We live for others and for ourselves. The central truth is that, above all else… first we must live.

Join us at our 5th annual Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K on Saturday, September 19, 2026 for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Elkhart Lake, great wine from locally-owned by Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop and local craft beer from 3 Sheeps Brewing! With registration options for all wine and beer lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!

Registration includes entry to the race, finisher medal, souvenir wine glass, and a pour of wine.

Please be aware that a shirt is not included in the registration fee. You are able to add a shirt during registration for an additional $5.
