1 Miles 3.1 Miles Fun Run Run Walk

Sign up early - the race sells out every year!

Newton Turkey Trot Mission

We’re back for the 13th Annual Newton Turkey Trot on Sunday, November 22nd!

What began as a small neighborhood run has grown into one of Newton’s favorite traditions, bringing together more than 1,700 runners to celebrate health, wellness, community, and giving back.

We’ve been especially inspired by runners who wear their Turkey Trot shirts near and far, reminding us to bring your sneakers everywhere and keep spreading the love!

The event features our scenic, USATF Certified 5K course, plus a 1-mile kids fun run, both designed to engage the whole family.

As always, 100% of proceeds will support:

  • Newton Food Pantry

  • Centre Street Food Pantry

Register by October 22nd to snag this year’s limited-edition Turkey Trot t-shirt!

Happy training and be well,

The Newton Turkey Trot Team

    WHY WE RUN!

Susan McDaniel, an avid athlete, actress, and equestrian, was a student at Lovelane throughout her two-year battle with cancer. Susan showed us how to defiantly live life. When surgery took the coordination in her right hand, she learned to write with her left. When treatments left her too exhausted to ride, she took joy in stable chores and teaching other students. Susan’s family spearheaded the Run in her memory to ensure all families have access to Lovelane’s unique and effective therapy.

All proceeds from the Run support Lovelane’s Tuition Assistance Program, so that all children in need can receive the highly beneficial therapy at Lovelane regardless of their family’s financial situation. Support for tuition assistance is critical for our families now more than ever.

    RUN DETAILS

Run or walk to benefit the children at Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program at the Susan McDaniel Run for Lovelane. This year’s run is on Sunday, June 7th! Join elite and novice runners, families, walkers, and children as they run or walk to support Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program at Weston Town Hall in Weston, MA. This family friendly event has live music, a food truck, a clown, prizes and more!

This is a USATF certified race.

PIONEERS Run Crew is a transformative and influential running community that has been reshaping the Boston running scene since its founding in April 2017. Established by Sidney Baptista, the crew was created to directly address the lack of diversity in the city's running culture by building a welcoming and inclusive hub in the Dorchester neighborhood. With a "no runner left behind" policy, a community of over 500 members, and a powerful lineup of their own signature races like the 26.TRUE Marathon, PIONEERS is a true lifestyle and a force for positive change.
