'To support the children and siblings of those who have been killed in action, missing in action, listed as prisoner of war, or deemed 100% disabled due to their service by assisting in the child's education through the Living Legacy Scholarship.
REGISTRATION COST GOES TO THE ORGANIZATION SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO HOST RACES. ALL DONATIONS BEYOND REGISTRATION COST GO DIRECTLY TO THE LIVING LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP - THE MOST TANGIBLE AND ICONIC MANIFESTATION OF OUR MISSION.'
Runners have exactly 12 hours to cover as many miles as they can. They are allowed to sleep, eat, leave and come back, and even flat out stop running whenever they want to - whatever they want to do get the furthest mileage possible. Due to the rules and structure of this type of run, it simply tests one thing: How far can you push yourself?
We also have a 10K option for those who still want to support us outside of the 12 Hour Endurance Run!

- The 10K is In-Person or Virtual. You will receive a t-shirt! The 1DK trophy is exclusively for the 12 Hour Endurance Runners. The 10K will start at 8am with the Ultra Marathon! *

Sponsored Runners: One of our premier fundraising methods is our Sponsored Runners. Before the run, these runners will secure "sponsorships" from friends, family, and anyone who may want to contribute to the cause. By "sponsoring" a runner, these donors are agreeing to donate a specified amount per mile that their runner covers in the 12 hours. With this setup, each literal step forward made by our Sponsored Runners is symbolic of the pain they are willing to endure and their desire to bring positive change upon our deserving families through the Living Legacy Scholarship.
If you register as a sponsored runner or team, you will need to become a fundraiser when you go through the registration process
Fundraising: Thanks to the generous contributions of others and the all-volunteer aspect of our team members, 100% of the profits raised through:
go toward our Living Legacy Scholarship endowment fund. Race registration fees are traditionally attributed to race and organization operational funds.
