The Grasslands Trail Runs

Grasslands Trail Run on March 21, 2026 features multiple distances (100-mile, 50-mile, marathon, half-marathon, and Sunday 15K) across the scenic Lyndon B. Johnson National Grasslands north of Fort Worth, Texas. The 20,000+ acre U.S. Forest Service-managed landscape features rolling hills, mixed pine and oak forests, open fields, and livestock. Runners traverse beautiful trail loops encountering wildlife (especially horses and cattle—don't let the cows out!). The event is organized by Blaze Trails and offers various race options for all experience levels, from ultramarathoners to beginners. Finisher medals and comprehensive support available.
