This is a perfect beginner race that includes a pool swim with 50 meter lanes.

It is early in the season and a great way to get involved in the sport as well as a good warm up race for veterans

POOL SWIM: 400 meters in the newly built Freedom Pool

BIKE: 6 miles on closed roads

RUN: 2 miles on a beautiful path through the park

Mini Mighty Man Youth Triathlon

POOL SWIM: 100 or 200 Meters. Athletes will start individually, 5 seconds apart. Athlete will be swimming lengths of 50 meters each. Athlete will “snake” their way through two lanes. Each lane will be going in only one direction.

BIKE- 2 Miles: (1) 2 Mile loop. The bike course is a park road that will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event. Bikes allowed: road bike, time trial, mountain bike or hybrid. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!)

RUN-1/4 or 1/2 Mile: The run course consists of a loop in the park.

If you register for the race after April 13th you are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

The Women's Whisper Tri is the perfect introduction for those new to the sport, as well as the seasoned athlete looking for an early-season tune-up. Featuring Adult, High School, and Youth events.

Long Island’s Gold Coast has a rich history of triathlon at the Town of North Hempstead Beach Park—and thanks to the support of the Town of North Hempstead, Race Awesome is bringing it back!

At Race Awesome, we never settle for the status quo. That’s why we’ve redesigned the bike course and introduced an all-new run course to elevate the experience. In addition to the Age Group Sprint Triathlon, we’re proud to host the Northeast’s only draft-legal race for high school and collegiate athletes.

The Cross Bay Swim is a challenging open water swim of 5.5 miles across Great South Bay from the Fire Island Lighthouse to Gilbert Park, Brightwaters. This event was first held in 1927, marking 95+ years of tradition and friendly competition. There is a strict limit on the number of swimmers accepted.

We fund the Hospice Care Network Children and Family Bereavement program, and a scholarship at St. Anthony's High School through your charitable fundraising for the event. Each swimmer must raise a minimum of $500. Thank you!

The Smith Point Triathlon starts at Smith Point County Park, with a fast 500 meter Narrow Bay swim and continues on to a flat and fast 10.2 mile bike ride over the Smith Point Bridge (TWO LOOPS THIS YEAR), followed by a scenic 5K run over the bridge ending at the Atlantic Ocean.

The bike course will now be two loops on William Floyd Parkway.

The safety and satisfaction of our athletes are always our top priorities. After our safety meeting with local municipalities, we are updating the bike course layout for the upcoming event to further prioritize your well-being. By adjusting the bike course to feature two loops, we are doubling up on police coverage during the race, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants. Your safety is paramount to us, and this adjustment reflects our commitment to providing you with the best possible race experience.

All participants receive a Finisher Medal.

Participants registered after July 28th are not guaranteed an event shirt.
