Get ready for a race weekend like no other at the Run Jekyll Weekend! Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-time 5k participant, this weekend offers something for every level of runner. Set on the beautiful Jekyll Island, runners can choose from four exciting race options: On Saturday choose between the 5k or 10k and on Sunday run either the half marathon or the marathon. However, if running only one race doesn't cure your appetite for racing you can choose to run a double!
This scenic event offers breathtaking views of the island’s unique landscape, featuring a mix of coastal beauty, lush nature trails, and historic landmarks. No matter if you're looking for a fun challenge or aiming for a personal best, the Run Jekyll weekend provides a perfect opportunity to push your limits, celebrate your fitness goals, and experience the natural beauty of Georgia’s coastline.

For All Levels: Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a few laps, on paved trails, under the beautiful oak trees of St. Simons Island, this event is for YOU!
🚨 How It Works:
• Run Anytime: You can join us at any time between 7 AM and 7 PM. (6:30 final lap) Run as many laps as you want – even if it’s just one, you're part of the action!
• Complete One Lap (5k) Get a Medal: Every participant who finishes a lap gets a commemorative finisher’s medal and shirt.
• Push Your Limits: Want to go for the entire 12 hours? Great! Run at your own pace and challenge yourself.
• Aid Stations: There will be a water point with snacks at the aid station at the start/finish. This is a self-supporting race, but there will be a Jimmy John’s and Smoothie King at the race start/finish.

• Top 3 kings & queens: The top finishers with the most miles will be awarded special medals and exclusive prizes!
What to Expect
The Florida Roots Trail Race at Fort Clinch is first and foremost a community gathering. Whether you’re a seasoned trail and ultra runner hunting for a new personal best or a 5k road runner looking to push yourself into unfamiliar territory, this event is designed to bring us all together for one unforgettable day of canopied single track, food, and drink. From the raucous amazement at the winners to the lamp-lit cheers for the final runner, we at Zero Feet Above Races embrace and celebrate every one of our participants. A wide selection of real food options are provided at the main aid station and meals and beers await everyone at the finish line. Register now and run in the shadows of the historical Fort Clinch while experiencing what trail running is all about.
Overview
The Fort Clinch 10k/30k/50k provides runners with a challenging but runnable course that winds through the park's trail system and circles the back of the historic fort. With a great environment, solid race swag, and an awesome trail community this race is not one to miss.The race takes place on January 23rd, 2027. Space is limited, so make sure to sign up to claim your spot! Shirts will be ordered on January 5, 2027, so any registration AFTER this date is not guaranteed the shirt size requested. We will be ordering extras of all sizes, but it will be first come first served on shirt sizes.
Distances, Awards and Shirts
The Fort Clinch Trail Race will feature three different distances: 10k, 30k, and 50k. All participants will receive an official race shirt, as well as a finisher’s award at the end of their race. Annual Florida State Park passes will be awarded to the top male and female in each distance.This race will be chip timed, with timing and live results provided by MCM Timing.Runners are only eligible for awards in the distance they start. Registration after January 5, 2027, will NOT be guaranteed a shirt in their size. We are ordering extra shirts in an effort to accommodate later registrants, but please be aware of this when registering.
Start Times and Time Limits
In order to limit congestion on the course, start times for each race will be staggered. The 50k will start at 8 AM, the 30k will start at 10 AM, and the 10k will start at 1 PM. All participants must complete their race by 7PM.
