Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust. With seven road courses ranging from 11 to 100 miles, a Petite Gravel (60 miles) and a Grande Gravel (80 miles), there’s a ride for everyone!
French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust preserves, stewards and connects people to the land in northern Chester County where iron blast furnaces and forges served as cornerstones of industry in colonial Pennsylvania – hence the name “Iron Tour”. When you ride in the Iron Tour, you have a direct impact on the preservation of the pristine countryside that surrounds you. Since its founding by Sam and Eleanor Morris in 1967, French & Pickering has protected over 13,600 acres.
All who have ridden in the previous Iron Tours have contributed to conserving these natural vistas and areas. Your participation in the 2026 Iron Tour will assure these and future preserved areas remain that way forever.
