Georgetown Summer Days and PEI Marathon are teaming up once again to present the 10th Annual Georgetown Clean Tech Park 5K & 10K!

Join us on July 19, 2026, as the event will take you through the scenic streets of Georgetown on an exciting new 5K and 10K course.

Your registration includes:

• Event T-shirt

• Finisher medal

• Awards

• Post-race refreshments

This year’s charity partner is the Canadian Mental Health Association – PEI, with proceeds supporting vital mental health programs across Prince Edward Island.

All prices are subject to 15% HST and an online processing fee.

Train with Triathlon PEI! Join us for a fun SWIM and RUN session! Work on your swimming technique in a comfortable, supervised pool, then head out for a run. Train with a buddy or meet new friends along the way!

Beginner friendly! If you'd like help on your form, please indicate in registration and we will have triathlon PEI athletes able to help you.

Open to ages 8+! Please note: Athletes under age 12 will run distances according to Triathlon Canada's Youth Rules.

Date: 9:30-10:30 am Sunday, July 19th, 2026

Location: Simmons Sports Centre, 170 N River Rd, Charlottetown, PE C1A 3L3

Format: 30 minutes of an instructed swim session followed by a 20-30 minute run

Schedule:

• 9:15-9:25 am: Athlete check-in

• 9:30-10:00: Swim session

• 10:00-10:30: Run session (changing between sessions is permitted)

Join us for a special fundraising marathon to support Jayden Kampuis as he prepares to represent PEI at the 2026 World Powerlifting Championships in South Africa!

Every step you take helps Jayden get closer to his goal — with 100% of proceeds going directly toward his travel and competition expenses.

Choose your challenge and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Confederation Trail, running from Morell to St. Peter’s and back:

🏃 5 km Run

🏃‍♀️ 10 km Run

💪 21 km Half Marathon

Whether you’re running for fun, pushing your limits, or showing your support, come be part of an amazing day and help Jayden chase his world championship dream!

Time: 21km starts at 8:30am

5km & 10km starts at 9:00am

Aid stations will be at the halfway points of the 10km and 21km routes

Some dreams are built on talent. Others are built on countless early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, and an unwavering commitment to never giving up.

For Jayden Kamphuis, the journey to the 2026 World Powerlifting Championships in South Africa has been years in the making. While balancing the demands of high school, leadership roles within his school community, work, and intensive training, Jayden has consistently pushed himself to be the best version of himself, both on and off the platform!

A dedicated student, mentor, and athlete, Jayden has represented Prince Edward Island at the provincial, regional, national, and international levels of powerlifting. His work ethic, determination, and positive attitude have earned him the opportunity to represent Canada on the world stage this August 2026.

As exciting as this opportunity is, the costs associated with the international competition are significant. Travel, accommodations, competition fees, and training expenses all add up quickly. That’s why we’re asking our community to come together and help make this dream a reality.

Every step taken during this marathon fundraiser helps Jayden take another step toward South Africa.

In partnership with TD Insurance, the Holland Hurricanes and the PEI RoadRunners Club, the Holland College Alumni Office is pleased to bring you the inaugural Holland College Alumni & Friends 5K Walk/Run event. This event is open to the general public, with discounted rates for Holland College students, alumni, staff and faculty! Any proceeds will be used towards supporting on-campus student food security initiatives and our Holland Hurricanes sports teams.

All participants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt, race bib, post-event snacks, entry into the door prizes draw, and be featured on the event results page.
