Triathlon PEI is very pleased to be offering the St. Peter's Bay Blueberry Festival Kids of Steel Triathlon on July 31st! Join in the fun and participate in the second Kids of Steel (K*OS) event of the summer!
The triathlon will begin and end in the picturesque community of St. Peter's at the St Peter's Bay campground located at 5930 St. Peter's Road, Saint Peter's Bay, PE C0A 2A0. Medals and snacks will be given to all participants! Food, t-shirts and medals for all participants.

There is a maximum of 60 spots so be sure to sign up early! :)
There will be no event day registration. Please ensure to register your children before 5pm on July 30th!
Swim: Pool swim
Bike: Confederation Trail
Run: Confederation Trail
Race check-in: Begins at 8:00 am and continues until 8:50. Kids will get their markings and numbers. Bikes and gear will be brought into the transition zone.
Race Start: 9:00 am with kids in the first wave meeting on the pool deck to go over the course.
Important Information:
All participants must be members of Triathlon PEI, Triathlon NS, Triathlon NB or Triathlon NL. Purchase an Annual membership at https://www.tripei.ca/membership
Please note: As per 2025 Triathlon Canada rules, during the event family members will NOT be permitted in the transition zone or on the race course (you can't run beside your child!). There will be Triathlon PEI volunteers available to help the kids!
Distances for Age Groups
4-5: 25m (1 length) swim, 500m bike, 100m run
6-7: 50m (2 lengths) swim, 1km bike, 400m run
8-9: 100m (4 lengths) swim, 2km bike, 800m run
10-12: 200m (8 lengths) swim, 6km bike, 1km run
Family Discount
A discount for families with multiple siblings will be applied at checkout. Once the information for "Participant #1" has been entered, click "ADD ANOTHER PARTICIPANT". Once all participants have been entered, click "CONTINUE" to complete the checkout process.
2 Siblings - $5 dollar discount
3 Siblings - $10 dollar discount
4 Siblings - $15 dollar discount

What equipment do I need to bring? Mandatory: Swim suit, bike, helmet, running shoes, sunscreen, towel. Recommended: Swim goggles
