Welcome to the 2026 St. Clair River Run

We are happy to bring you the 3rd Annual re-incarnation of our Run the River event!

Our directors have been working hard to ensure a great racing experience for all while you travel down the picturesque St. Clair River and through part of our amazingly supportive township. Get ready for a morning full of fun, community and celebration!

Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026

Location: Along the St. Clair River from Courtright to Port Lambton, Ontario

Distances: Half-Marathon, 10k, 5k, 2.5k & Kid's Minnow Run

    The 6th Annual Run United is a family-oriented 5K run/1 mile walk fundraiser on May 3, 2026 at East China Township Park. The proceeds will benefit the United Way of St. Clair County. The race will begin at 11:30 am with a recognition ceremony at 12:30 pm. There will be first-place medals for each age group.

    The cost is $25 per runner or walker with a t-shirt if registered before April 25th ($35 if registered after April 25th*) and $10 per walker without a t-shirt if registered before April 25th ($15 if registered after April 25th*).

    Donuts, water, and swag bags will be provided for all participants and a t-shirt will be provided for runners and walkers registered with the t-shirt option by April 25th.

    Join us for the 10th Annual Color Out Cancer Run hosted by Algonac's National Honor Society! Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10 AM. The race is 3.1 miles. One registration will include a T-shirt, bandanna, and Individual color packet. Be sure to pick your t-shirt size when registering. T-shirts will be distributed at check-in the morning of the race. The school restrooms will be available the day of the race.

    The race begins and ends at Algonac High School. All proceeds will benefit Jillian Burgess with medical expenses related to cancer. Woman's Life Insurance Society will match the first $500 raised.

    DAY OF REGISTRATION: We will be accepting day of registration but please note t-shirts are limited and will be served as first-come, first-served. Cash or check will be accepted. If you plan on registering the day of, please be there at 8:45 AM! Regular sign in time for online participants will begin at 9:00 AM. You can check-in on the mobile app RaceDay CheckIn or there will be a table to check-in. There you will pick up your packet including your T-shirt and bandana.

    Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township (MVHCT) is excited to announce our 5th Annual Community Run, Walk, or Roll on Saturday, June 6, 2026—celebrating five years of serving those who served and honoring the heroes in our community.

    This event is open to individuals of all abilities and brings our community together for a meaningful day of movement, connection, and gratitude. All proceeds directly support the MVHCT Charitable Support Fund, enhancing quality of life for our members through programs, activities, outings, and more.

    This inclusive event welcomes participants of all abilities, providing an opportunity for everyone to walk or run a timed 5K course on the property of the Michigan Veteran Home at Chesterfield Township.     Whether you come to walk, cheer, give high-fives long the route, there is a place for everyone in this special event.

    As a token of appreciation, participants registered by May 22nd will receive a commemorative event shirt—along with the unforgettable experience of spending time with our members, their families, and the dedicated team who serve them every day.

    Remembrance Walk (.5 Mile)

    Not a runner? No problem—this experience is for everyone.

    Join our heroes for a 0.5-mile loop of remembrance around the Home. This walk is more than just a path—it’s a moment to honor, connect, and say thank you to the veterans who have given so much.

    Whether you come to walk, cheer, or give high-fives along the route, there is a place for everyone in this special event.

    8:00 am -9:00 am - Walker/Runner check-in & walk-up registration.

    9:00 am - Opening Ceremony at the Starting Line

    9:15 am - .5 Mile Remembrance Walk starts

    9:30 am - 5K & Member Chariots report to start line

    9:45 am - 5K starts

    10:00-11:00 am - Finisher medals at finish line

    11:30-11:45 am - Top age bracket winners and silent auction announced

    All registered runners and walkers will receive a finisher medal, and a race t-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased during registration.

    **PARKING WILL BE OFF SITE AT NALDRETT AND GREEN ELEMENTRY SCHOOLS WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE RUNNING CONTINOUSLY. PLEASE ALLOW FOR AN EXTRA 10-15 MINUTES TO PARK AND GET TO THE STAGING AREA.

    A race to honor one runner, and encourage many others.

    Join us Thanksgiving morning for the 10th annual Friendsgiving Tyler Kreilter Memorial Run. Great for competitive runners and beginners, and everyone in between. You can run, walk, dance, or crawl your way to the finish line just like other family-friendly turkey trots.

    • Custom Finisher Medals

    • 5-year age group prizes for top male and female in each age group

    • Top finisher prizes for top male and female

    • Prize drawings (All participants and volunteers are eligible)

    One mile race starts at 8:30 am, with the 5k starting at 9:00 am. Start and finish is in downtown Marine City, near the beach. All proceeds from this event go to the Tyler Kreilter Memorial Fund. The Fund provides scholarships and other support for Blue Water area runners.

    Registrations placed by Monday, November 17 will include a free long-sleeved T-shirt.

    Shirts can be ordered separately after November 17 to be delivered in early December.
